Hotel was good. We had to move room as there was no hot water in the room we had booked. The breakfast was great and most mornings we had it in the sunshine on the roof terrace. Staff were v helpful and accomodating. Prestigia's customer service was excellent. Our flight was delayed by 3 hours because of the snow so Prestigia re arranged our taxi time and we had to get picked up earlier due to check in times in Morocco and Prestigia sortred this out very efficiently - So i would like to thank Salma for all her help.

Good bits: --Excellent service - the manager at the Riad was very helpful as were all the women who look after the meals/rooms. Very warm, helpful and good service. --Riad is nicely done up. Drinks are reasonably priced. Bad bits: --Our room (Bridgette Bardot) was in an annexe to the Riad and it was on the top floor next to the terrace. We went in end dec-early Jan and the room and bathroom were too cold.We requested (and got) an extra heater. The room being cold was a big minus point as temperatures drop a lot at night in winter. -- Breakfast was generally well-made (excellent orange juice freshly squeezed) but one day all we got were three kinds of bread. Fruit/a hot addition was sorely missed.

Riad Davia is a treasure tucked away down a side street in the Medina. We recommend getting the driver to pick you up from the airport, once you are there you will be welcomed and treated incredibly warmly. Everyone at Riad Davia is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed lounging in the courtyard sipping mint tea and chatting to Sayed. The location is great, just a 20 min fairly direct walk from Jemaa El Fna and all the main sites within the Medina. It is a great oasis in the busy city, a real retreat for relaxation. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

The staff are excellent. The room is nice however the bathroom facilities are not very good (maybe too old). It is near the centre of visiting points, about 15 minutes walking. The hotel is located in a very small lane, not very easy to find for the first time visitor. Recommonded to use airport pick up to assist.

The Riad was delightful. Staff were welcoming and made you feel part of the Davia family. It was a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the medina and very well placed for seeing the city. The food was home cooked and of a very high standard and the staff were able to organise any trips and tours that we wanted to do with little notice. We would not hesitate in recommending the Riad to anyone that wanted to go to Marrakech.
