"Poor service, dirty rooms"
My group had a total of four rooms for our recent stay. While the location is nice, the rooms are small, dirty, and overpriced for what you get. There was dried kibble on the floor from some previous occupant. We ordered room service for breakfast and the food arrived stone cold with the hash browns still frozen. When I asked to complain to a manager, I was told that all of the managers were in meetings; on a Sunday morning, and couldn't possibly be bothered to speak with me. The concierge was unknowledgeable and rude. We scheduled a tour through the concierge service prior to arriving, but they failed to email any information to us., such as the confirmation information that we needed for the tour. When we asked for help regarding our tour, they passed the buck and tried to blame each other, rather than solve the problem. In short, poor service, dirty, and overpriced.
"Nice location, large room, needs maintenance"
I only stayed one night here. The room was large and had many commodities, but needed some maintenance. For example the faucets were loose so I couldn't turn on the cold water, the room smelled musty (I was on the older wing I think). For the price it wasn't what I expected as a solo traveller. Wi fi access was poor and only free in the lobby.
"It will be a nice choice to stay."
Nice location with fair price. It's near by the union square and convenient to take BART. If you are a business traveler, it will be the nice choice to stay.
"Average at best- avoid "
First the upside +Sleep comfort bed. Great nights sleep like any Westin hotel +Well insulated rooms Now the downside -I know NYC has shoebox sized rooms but this took the cake. -Almost impossible to get my suitcase in -SPG corp preferred plus, which entitles me to an upgrade when available at check in. No upgrade and the view I had, smack in between a garage -Staff was indifferent at best Room was dated My recommendation- avoid this place
"Very nice, clean and comfortable"
Convenient location if you're on business or involved in events downtown. I was here for a wedding. Spacious room, and they offer a green option to opt out of daily service. Expensive valet parking! I would stay here again.
