"Staff is amazing!"
Would stay here again without a doubt. The staff was amazing and took great care of us during our extended stay, from the excellent room service, to transportation, to the great on site food. We loved everything about this hotel.
"Nice Area Friendly Staff"
Staff were very friendly. I spoke zero Español and they made it work. Room service food was great. Hotel was super quiet and clean. Nice and artsy but not pretentious. Many things are within walking distance.
"This was not my best stay"
I love Blue Doors hotels in Bogota but this was not my best stay. I came over the Christmas and New Years period but on Christmas Day I had the worst day with the Receptionist at the front desk. The night before my girlfriend and I had over family over for Christmas Eve Dinner. They all stayed until 2 Am. My Girlfriend little cousin was very tired and was hard to wake him at 2 am to depart. We ask that her cousin let him stay the night because he was tired. At 11am the front desk lady called our room and complain that it has come to her attention that a little boy is in the room. My girlfriend told her yes it was late and we could not wake him and will take him home that afternoon. She said he needs to be registered now. Again my girlfriend explained we are taking him home soon and he is not a guest. The receptionist again said he needs papers. I got on the phone and explained the situation and she argued with me and said the police can be called. I told her he was not a guest and will be leaving soon. She told me anyone who comes to my room must be registered. I said, I have been to the hotel before and many other Bluedoors hotel and never had to register all my visitors before. I did not know what she was talking about but I did know she was just giving us a hard time on Christmas day for no reason at all. My girlfriends cousin emailed her the boys identification and then the took it to the desk. Also told the rude woman at the desk we will be taking the boy home soon. I have never experience so much rudeness from a front desk clerk before. I am a paying customer and it was CHRISTMAS DAY! The rest of my time there we did enjoy the stay but Jazz Management should teach their clerks a little something about understanding and CHRISTMAS spirit. Not sure If I will stay at this hotel again. But all the other staff were great!
"Magnificent, friendly and home-feel"
From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home with their warm and humble welcoming attitude. Throughout my stay, the staff and management were exceptionally great and felt safe the entire time. The rooms were clean and the hotel had was spotless. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit the lovely city of Bogota.
"Comfortably -Artistic -Boutique "
This a small boutique hotel. Pulling up to the hotel, you'd think you are going to stay with a friend. The friendly staff greet you and make you feel welcome. We stayed in room 602 which was perfect for our needs. Each room is decorated by an artist - ours was a photographic dedication to the sky and architecture. The bed was comfortable and the living room space was good. The hotel was kind enough to provide a fan for those of us used to living with HVAC almost year round. The hotel provides a nice Colombian breakfast for the guests. It was in a "zone of protection" so for whatever that means exactly - it certainly provided an additional sense of security.
