"WILL COME BACK"
The hotel is well located, very clean, good breakfast, nice people on reception and services, in general. Dear Mr. Juan Pablo, I enjoyed a lot my stay at the hotel. However, I would like to inform that some taxi drivers are using the name of the hotel to explore guests. I asked for a taxi at the front desk - to take to the airport - (the taxi driver, license nr. 167988) and the driver refused to turn the taximeter on saying that he had an arrangement with your hotel to charge tourists without using the taximeter - what I believe to be a lie. Even when I asked him to turn the taximeter on, he refused. When we arrive at Aeroparque, he charged me 350,00 pesos - which is a lot if we consider that I payed 190,00 when I arrived - the same route - from the airport to the hotel. So, be careful with taxis and their drivers!!!! A LOT!!!! I do not believe that the hotel would have such disonest arrangement with taxi drivers. Be Aware!!!!!
"An excellent choice for a last night splurge in BA"
Having just returned from provincial Uruguay, this excellent modern hotel was like a dream come true. They had very kindly stored our luggage while we were away and it was such a kindness as that one hour ferry boat across the huge river would be a pain if you had big luggage. The room on the 5th floor was spacious and calming with every amenity. It was winter and the rooftop is closed so that was a pity but understood as it was quite old. Just a short walk to the Florida street of endless shops was a bonus as was the excellent steak restaurant the front desk referred us to for our last meal in BA.
"The restaurant does not help to win more stars"
The room experience was not bad, except that the heating system was broken and we had to wait an hour for havkng it fixed. Reception staff not so friendly. The main issue comes from the restaurant which offered the worse service during our 2 weeks in Argentina. The 2 ladies have no idea what service is in a restaurant. We had to wait more than one hour to be served. Once done, the burgers were burned and we had to replace them. Food was far to be the best we had. It is not normal that this hotel showcases 5 stars on the front of the building. That's obviously not the case. I want to mention that the duty manager was very effective anyhow.
"Nice hotel in a good location"
Stayed here for business on two occasions. Rooms are nice, some better than others depending on position. There are no signs showing you where your room number is which is rather confusing for many people so sometimes you can see people walking around clueless as to where there room is. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Food is restaurant is ok, better to venture into BA though.
Spent a couple of weeks in this hotel on way to a job. A very pleasant experience, great staff, good food and a perfect location to have a look around Buenos Aires. Places to visit' Sunday markets on Defensa st, all sorts of clothing, nic-knacks and Argentinean artifacs. Great live music. cheers
