The abba Madrid Hotel stands right in the business district, near Hospital San José, Avenida América and the Barrio de Salamanca, and offers excellent links with Barajas Airport and the IFEMA trade fair centre, and is two steps away from the Auditorio Nacional de Música. Only 2 Metro stops away from the "Palacio de Deportes" and the shopping zone "Goya" and close by the bullfighting arena "Las Ventas".
Alles perfekt, außer das Badezimmer etwas zu klein.Comment of G. Thomas , Germany the 2016-02-15

"Eastern Europe Tour"
Berlin was our last city on the tour, and ABBA was our hotel. Breakfast included, great spa facility and the laundry service was excellent! Rooms are perfect size for one or two adults. Hotel is located in Berlin central - easy walking distance to all the sights, yet quiet at night also!
"Great Hotel with amenities and location"
Very nice hotel with excellent staff, larger rooms (for Europe) and a good location. Rooms are laid out well and kept very clean. Beds could use another pillow on them and typical of many European hotels, no wash cloths. Other than that, the place is super nice.
Where do I start. The trip started on a bad note from when we landed. Travelling with a 1.5 yr old I emailed before hand requesting for them to arrange a cab for when we arrive. No response. A couple of days later I chased again (just before our arrival) and the lady said it's all been arranged. We waited about half an hour at the airport and no one arrived. I called for them to arrange another. Nothing. And no one would take us as I had a baby and they didn't have car seats. In the end I requested an uber. We arrived all was fine but then realised they didn't even tell me when or where breakfast is. Breakfast was standard I suppose not really to my taste. They didn't have the standard toast and porridge though which I would have preferred. The 2nd night my son got a terrible fever I called reception around 2am to see how to see/speak to a doctor and the lovely lady helped a lot, called the cab and made sure they had a baby car seat and gave them the address of the children's hospital. The only person who was actually really good and helped us a lot. 2 days later he not only still had the fever but started to vomit as well. I made the cleaners aware that the night before he had vomited and we had cleaned it up but the floor needs to be mopped and thoroughly cleaned. We then went to reception and requested a cab to the children's hospital. The lazy man at reception pressed a button and said done. I said "do they know we need a baby car seat'", "Ok maybe better if I call"... you don't think'!! We had to run up and change my sons clothes because he had just been sick everywhere again, and then came back down. The space of about 10 mins the cab came and left. We waited a further 20 or so mins. With a sick baby waiting in a pram. Finally he came and didn't know where we were going. After requesting where we needed to go to reception. How would we know'' After digging through some papers we got the address from what the hospital gave us at our last visit. We came back a few hours later and no one even bothered to ask how he was doing. We went to our room to see the room wasn't tidied properly and the floor not mopped. Customer service was appalling. Asking for something simple like a travel card the lady would give me a dirty look like I wasn't speaking English or something.. I asked for a day travel card she'd pass me on to some other guy who would then charge me less. I asked why is this less is the for a day. No this is one way. Why the hell would I need one way'' I said I wanted a day'' Things like this which would cause us tourists confusion and potentially stuck on how to get back. Every time we'd ask for a cab we'd end up waiting around 20 mins. When changing our flights last min to one that same evening I called reception to let them know we're coming down to check out and need a taxi asap as we're in a rush. Of course she said "if you could come down I can get it arranged I promise it won't take long" but of course it did. And the staff would just sit there no communication as we are pacing back and forth trying to keep our baby happy while we just wait in reception. We checked out a day early and paid a fee for changing our flights because we couldn't take it anymore. The hotel felt hostile and horrible esp with a sick baby and lack of empathy was horrific. Never again.
"Great location and pleasant atmosphere "
Abba Hotel Berlin is located near Kurfürstendamm with cordial staff and adequate facilities. Very simple yet stunning rooms with chandeliers and picturesque views over a green area as well! Jacuzzi is complimentary but the bubbles do not work very well. Bar area is fabulous with reasonably priced drinks and friendly bartenders!
