"Contemporary hotel in great location"
While the hotel looks fairly nondescript from the outside, the lobby and bar are very sleek and strikingly modern. Our room was spacious, modern, and minimalistic. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Oddly there was no duvet, just an old fashioned blanket covered by sheets. We had a table and two armchairs, and an enormous flat screen TV, but no in-room safe. There was a minibar, but no price list to go with it. The wardrobe offered plenty of hanging space and shelves, but there was no drawer. There was an open tray like box on top of the desk, that looked a bit like a drawer but nowhere to put it, so all your small items were sitting there in the open. Very weird. The lighting was very good, but the various lamps could not be switched on and off individually - another good design point poorly executed. The reading light (the only light that could be operated individually) on my side of the bed did not work at all. The room had a huge window leading to small balcony, although it was very noisy from the road outside if you left the door open. The blackout curtain wasn't quite wide enough for the window so didn't keep out the light completely when you went to sleep. The bathroom was bright and very modern with a great shower stall, the toiletries were nice and the bath towels huge and fluffy, but for some strange reason we only had one hand towel between the two of us. Cleanliness was very good. We only staff we encountered were the front desk people (we ate outside), and they were efficient, very friendly and helpful. The location in the lively Santa Catalina district is excellent. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity, the seafront is a hundred yards away, and it is just about walking distance to the cathedral and the old town. There is an airport bus stop less than five minutes walk away, and the no. 5 city bus stops just around the corner. All in all a good hotel for a city break, it could be great if only they could fix those shortcomings mentioned above.
Very nice place in center of Palma good staff discret and helpful nice bedroom and garden I stay there 4 night breakfast was good too I will definitely come back Value for money good just wish was a swimming pool Thanks you
It is a business hotel. Nice and quite. Good position not in center. Rooms are ok. Breakfast is ok. The bar area is nice. It is a good place for Palma. I could come back here when I will be back in Palma.
"Smart Business/Holiday Hotel"
This smart smaller business/holiday hotel is ideally located just one street up from the promenade and harbour while being within easy walking distance from the old town of Palma. The best rooms are the higher floor front ones with stunning views of the marina and cathedral, which we were upgraded to. There is some traffic noise but this can be easily solved by closing the windows at night and letting the efficient air con do the work. Great shower, minibar, good buffet breakfast, the only missing facility would be tea/coffee facilities. Four out of five rating from us as the mattress was far too firm even for people who, like us, prefer harder mattresses. A couple of good restaurants just down the road and two mini markets with all the essential you might need. Helpful polite staff, would definitely return there!
"Business Hotel outside historical centre"
AC Marriot standard quality hotel. Evething ok except there is no parking and it is difficilt to park in the surroundings. No views. In a residential area on a crossroads with lots of traffic. This is not a tourist hotel.
