I'm happy to review but asking me for 200 words is too much. It was nice hotel good value bacon and sausage at breakfast was poor, toaster too slow. Pool looked nice, hot tub and gym good too. More staff at checkout time good idea
"Well-posiitoned for touring Berlin"
As a couple travelling with an elderly mother, we found our 2 bedroom & ensuite apartment most comfortable and suitable for our needs. From when we first arrived late at night to when we departed five days later, we were always greeted by very friendly and efficient staff. Our apartment was on the first floor with access via both lift or stairs and our apartment was very well equiped with everything required for a longer stay. Evening meals and breakfast was available at the downstairs dining room. There are also good dining options available nearby if you don't wish to dine in-house and public transport in Berlin is excellent, so getting around, if not walking is easy. Yes, would be most happy to stay here again.
Don't book breakfast it's better to eat out as the hotel is central to everything and the bread in Germany is lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful providing maps and directions for places to visit.
Fantastic accommodation. Great location. Room spotless. Great amenities - room has everything. Room very quiet (courtyard). Additional security by swiping room card in lift is also great. Angela on reception a lovely, helpful member of staff.
"Great HQ for touring Berlin"
Adina had the location and facilities we needed for our three couples do it yourself tour of Berlin. We stayed 4 nights. Used the sitting room in each suite for drinks and snacks before dinner. Used the washer drier in one to freshen our clothes for the next city. Did not eat breakfast in hotel but walked to Charlottenstrasse or Freidrichstrasse for our coffee and buns. Rented the bikes on site for 12 euro per day. They were nicer than most with working head lamps and tail lights. If you want a helmet it is BYO. Our room overlooked court yard and was quiet with good morning light and large windows that opened. Our Aussie desk clerk was an awesome help from efficient checking in to neighborhood info. We easily reached the Adina by public transport from Tegel. We did both bus to bus and bus to subway and preferred the 128 bus to the Underground (I think U6) to Stadtmitte station. Use the southern exit and you are right at Krausenstrasse and a 8 or 10 minute walk to hotel. On Thursday to Saturday nights it would be nice for bar to stay open to 1 AM instead of midnight for having an after dinner drink. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
