service was good we liked the room. Café staff was very helpful, room cleaning was good, sitting areas near the front desk is very comfortable, food options in the food court should be updated / changed frequently.
"Recent visit to Hamburg"
Very helpful staff despite us not speaking german. Hotel very clean. Didn't have any an opportunity to use all the facilities within the apartment. Very impressed that there was a washing machine and tumble dryer, but surprisingly no microwave.
"Long term stay"
Great location, nice staff, stylish apartments. Very nice breakfast. Everything was great except of the fact, that some guests are using the pool and the whirlpool without clothes, this is inappropriate and disturbing.
I had a conference in Hamburg so spent a long time researching family-friendly hotels. The Adina had very good reviews so we chose it, and were very thankful we did! We booked ahead of time and got a discounted rate for a 2-bedroom apartment. We caught a cab from the airport (bags VERY slow at the airport) and were greeted by a friendly staff member at reception. We were given two connecting one-bedroom apartments ("to give your more room") on the 6th floor. Both apartments had kitchens, with one having a separate bedroom. The bathroom products were great and the kids had fun in the bath. There was a washing machine and dryer too. You could borrow kids' games from reception which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very nice. Pino, a lovely Italian gent, looked after us, even doubling as a porter when we left! There was a nice selection of cereals, cold meats, hot dishes, and even some yummy cakes. At 15 euro per adult it was reasonably priced by Australian standards. If this is dear for you, there is an amazing bakery - Dat Bakchus - about 100 metres away. Amazing in terms of quality and price (and peanut-free!)! Another 100 metres away is a great supermarket which sells everything you need. There are some great restaurants around too, all within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel. We made great use of the local transport right near the hotel - bus, train, and a little further away, ferries. Hamburg is an easy city to walk around too. One of the highlights of the trip was the Dom Festival held around the corner from the hotel. The Festival is like the town show or fair where there are rides and games. Amazingly it is free to enter! The kids had a great time on the well-priced rides and games. Being away we missed the Brisbane Show (EKKA) but the Dom Festival more than made up for it. The kids still rave about it. We would definitely stay at the Adina again!
Amazing service and excellent breakfast in the morning Staff is courteous especially the Italian gentlemen in the restaurant Mr. Pino is amazing and very helpful Maureen from the reception was also of great help to me Thanks adina
