"Feel like home"
We had the opportunity to visit Bariloche and stayed at the Aldebaran, we stayed there five days and was our base while at Bariloche - it is not in town but in a secluded cove - small, friendly, good restaurant and the folks are ALL great people - always friendly and homey - I have no doubt that if I go back to Bariloche, I will stay there
"Peace , views and good food."
Close to the harbour after a long journey through the mountains and lakes this small hotel was a time to relax. We still had the fabulous views of the mountains across the lake and could walk down to the lake. We enjoyed an interesting menu at the hotel after a swim in their warm if small pool. The hotel needs some refurbishment but has a very pleasant ambience. Beds very comfortable and rooms large with balcony. The staff lovely and very helpful. Disadvantage is the distance from the centre of Barilocce. However, it is a stopover unless you are addicted to chocolate and we were pleased not to be in the town centre. It is only 360 Argentine pesos to the centre of town.
"Lovely spot; restful and beautiful; food amazing"
We had such a fantastic time at Aldebaren. Food brilliant. Rooms lovely. Indoor/ outdoor pool is so restful. Great couches to read a book and have a glass of wine with an amazing view. Thanks Alex for being such a great host. Recommend Patagonia cerveceria and Cordillera bikes for Seven lakes cycling. Lovely spot to visit (especially after a long bike ride!).
"Secluded boutique hotel"
Our experience at the Aldebaran was excellent. This boutique hotel has a great view of the lake and mountains. Our room, on the top floor was very spacious, private and with a very nice balcony. The ladies at the reception desk are very helpful and kind. The breakfast is very good and the dinner menu while not of great variety it is well prepared and served. It was the best option if you do not wish to over spend at the Lalo Lalo and still get the smallest oldest room in the place. I do recommend renting a car because the hotel is not on the main road.
"Intimate, luxury hotel outside of Bariloche"
Aldebaran is an intimate luxury hotel on the San Pedro peninsula outside of Bariloche (20km) and sits right on the lake with a view of the mountains. Its located very close to the Circuito Chico and other tourist attractions. I would recommend renting a car for your stay at this hotel because its somewhat isolated on the peninsula and getting to the public bus line would be a bit of a walk. Plus, having a car allows you to enjoy more of the area. The staff at this hotel offer the highest customer service to ensure you are enjoying your stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. They give you a complimentary bottle of water every day. The breakfast is outstanding. They offer dinners at the hotel and the chef is excellent offering gourmet entradas, main dishes, and dessert options. The spa has an indoor and outdoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, showers, and massage on request. There is a wifi connection, living room with TV, fireplace, terraza, garden, and bar. We stayed in the family suite on the top floor hoping for a terrace with a view of the mountains and lake, however it turns out that this room that does not offer a terrace facing the mountains and lake. The terrace for this room faces the garden/parking area and did not have any place to sit. I would recommend ensuring that you get a room facing the lake with a terrace which all other rooms offer and they include a table and chairs for enjoying the view. Our room was comfortable for sure, it just didn't have the terrace we were hoping for. Overall our experience was delightful and we would highly recommend staying here.
