"Good hotel "
This was a 3 night stay on business. I wanted something in Prague itself but with good public transport links to other areas. This was the perfect location. The buses, trams and metro are all within a minute walk. The hotel was able to sort me out with a 3 day pass for the transport too. Staff very friendly, rooms excellent with tea / coffee making facilities. I like the nice touch of a small gift if you opt not to have your room serviced every day. The executive floors also have an additional free coffee machine in the lobby next to the lift. If you're a light sleeper or don't want to hear traffic noise ask night, ask for a room that does not overlook the street. I was on the 6th floor and could still hear every vehicle, although it didn't disturb my night. You can walk to the tourist areas (about 30 minutes) but I'd take the tram. Street maps are available from reception. There are plenty of bars and restaurants as well as a 3 storey shopping centre all within an easy walk.
"Art Nouveau Hotel in Nice Area"
Very modern hotel with colorful decor. The bathroom had no tub - shower only. There were no face cloths or iron in the room. The king bed was comfortable but very low to the ground. They have a bounteous breakfast buffet with choices for all cultures. And oh the breads!!! There was a bag on the bed that can be placed on the outside of door to indicate that you would skip cleaning. Instructions said you would then receive a gift. So being curious we did so and the gift was 3 small packages of gummy candies. Down the street and around the corner is a very large 3 story shopping mall. We ate dinner at a very nice Italian restaurant called "Pizza Mediterranean." You reach it by turning right out of the lobby. A bit down the street there is what looks like an alleyway. Turn right and the restaurant is on the right.
"Good facilities but some downside"
In business and residential area, some distance from the centre. Rooms well equipped. Service adequate - room for improvement on customer service. Had been forewarned that food in the restaurant is never hot and that proved to be true of the only meal I had in the hotel. Very good Czech restaurant a short walk down the road. Supermarket round the corner. Not sure about some of the following questions as I was with a group, organised by a travel company.
I was here for 7 nights. I never had 1 issue or problem, staff was very kind and always smiling, breakfast was pretty good and the room I had was perfect for my needs, spacious and clean. Ok the TV antenna wasn't working and the pillows were too big and soft however these are minor details as I didn't ever watch any TV and well I slept greatly without cushion. Well done Angelo Hotel
"Nice hotel in a good location."
We checked in during the evening with no fuss, room keys ready and pleasant English-speaking staff on reception. The rooms were compact, with only one very uncomfortable modern chair. The bed was quite firm, which I like but it wouldn't suit everyone. There are tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms cleaned as often as we requested, and left alone otherwise. Good standard of breakfast with plenty of choice, although it was very busy on our first morning and therefore a bit chaotic, which made the staff a bit grumpy. It was quieter on subsequent mornings. The hotel is very handy for the metro, buses and trams, as well as a large shopping mall, complete with M&S! it is a pleasant walk along the river from Charles Bridge.
