"Good for a quick stay"
Staff was fine, location is about 15 minute walking time to the airport. The room had a little kitchenette that could be useful if you're staying a little longer and doesn't want to go out for eating all the time. I personally would like to have a bigger shower space instead of the top burners, fridge, cookware... so tiny that you'll bruise you elbows, be ready. Workout room is almost non-existent, and I didn't try the sauna/pool.
"Dreadful customer service"
Reception was good, and the restaurant within the hotel was very nice. However - at 3.30am, part of the ceiling collapsed in my room and water started dripping in. I called reception - the gentleman who arrived appeared to suggest that it was my fault because I'd had the air conditioning on. When I turned it off as ordered, the flow of water into the room increased. After several minutes of him studying the gap where the tiles had fallen from, I suggested that I move rooms. He disappeared and brought me a new room key - he didn't tell me where the new room was, or what room it was. He also didn't make any attempt to help with the move - I can carry my own bags, but I had to walk across the broken tiles with water dripping down onto me and my bags - some help could have been offered there. Needless to say, there was no apology made. The room I was moved to had the most peculiar bathroom - it was essentially a wet room, but the drain for the shower was at the high point of the floor. So once I had showered the next day, the area around the drain was dry but the remainder of the room was under about 2cm of water - it made using the toilet impossible. Overall, very disappointing - things happen, but it's how you deal with them that determines how your viewed - and this hotel did not deal with this situation very well.
"Spacious basic business 3 star appt,, OK for extended stays, good for airport, restaurants nearby"
Good size appartment, I had a room adapted for physically challenged (handicapped if your old skool) and they need to re-think the design a bit.. some features would be a 'stretch' to say the least! Spacious living/kitchen, not much in the kitchen if you want to really cook something, and not even a bottle opener! Bed was good, comfortable, and the bedroom has outside shutters to blackout light and for extra sound insulation. Desk area design not good, small compared to dining table and no phone (only in the bedroom) Breakfast included it was 146,00 euro per night, OK I guess for the area / comfort level. Breakfast was good, although they seem to have a problem running out of plates '!' Nearby (10min easy walk) there is a shopping / cinema center with a few eating places. I got a surprisingly good takeaway sushi from Tokami (see review), at a reasonable price. Taxi from the airport was 5 mins, 15 euro. I think I got a bit ripped off, so maybe check before next time!
"Late booking. But did like some of the features. Walking distance to the airport. But not if you are dragging a case."
The clue is in the name. I have stayed fairly extended trips in the Holiday Inn across the road however this in a little more homely. I did like having a microwave and proper fridge in the room. The best room rate was displayed in reception as 183 euros, and that was pretty much how much was paid. However looking at booking.com for future bookings you could do a lot better. The bedside light switch was not reachable, unless you sat up. The room I stayed in had suffered water damage to the laminate floor. However it did have a microwave and an electrical hob. The one member of staff I spoke to was pleasant and helpful.
"This is not a hotel so don't expect much."
The corridors are dark and dingy. The room I was in was run-down and water damage in the ceiling by the door. The bed is hard. The sheets were clean but not the blanket at the bottom of the bed. There was no kettle. Had to boil water in a cup in the microwave. Stayed for two nights on business. The hospitality tea and coffee is not replenished the next day. One towell, one tiny bar of soap and one tiny bottle of shower gel but bath and toilet were clean. The place needs refurbishment. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was average. For a holiday, it would be a useful destination but not for business trips.
