"The place to be in Prague"
The hotel is so beautiful, located in a charming square at the Charles Bridge. The room is so charming and cozy, the breakfast is delicious and the staff lovely and helpful. I also recommend the bistro in the back, where you can eat a good schnitzel and have a beer watching the river in a sunny day under the trees. Just perfect!
"Comfortable and value for money"
This hotel is the perfect location for a trip to Prague. A quiet haven within walking distance to the old town and castle. I found some members of staff not very friendly or helpful and our rooms were on the budget side but thank goodness they did have wonderful air conditioning and were spotless. Breakfast was ok.
"Top Notch! "
Great view to the charles bridge, walking distance from city main spots (charles bridge, castle, clock, old time sq, etc). Very clean..really nice staff. AC works like a champ (very important in Europe, specially during summer time)
The hotel is so close to everything in Prague, all in walking distance. Breakfast is delicious and they also offered afternoon snack for free. You also get 20 per cent off for dinning in their restaurant. The front people are very friendly. Jan has made me feel welcome in the hotel.
"Location Location Location"
We could only get two nights at the Archibald at the Charles Bridge.....that was the only down part of our stay. The biggest rooms by far on our trip. We had two Twin XL's pushed together to make a king. There was also a pull out sofa (not an uncomfortable Hyde bed). I ended up on it as the main mattress was a bit too firm. Could have used a small fridge (there was a pay bar fridge in the room that I could squeeze a drink or two into). We had air conditioning that was great. There were restaurants all around. You are at the base of one of the biggest tour attractions, the Charles Bridge. It's a lovely walk across and should be done at all times of day especially at night as the views of the lit up Prague Castle are breath taking. We were on the front side of the hotel (not facing the river) but had a great look at the activities of travellers dining and walking by the courtyard / entrance of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included (long hours!) was great and also the complementary "snack" (small basic sandwiches, soup and bread) served between 1 - 4 was a bonus!!!! We would definitely stay at the Archibald at the Charles Bridge again! Steve & Carly Surrey BC
