The manager at reception and the senior hostess at the restaurant Vanja were very helpful. We were able to check in prior to 3 pm which we were grateful for after our long flight. The breakfast was excellent.Comment of M. Mohini , South Africa the 2017-01-23

"quiet, comfortable great location"
This is such a good hotel. Near Heuston Station, set beside the Liffey, and transit. Very comfortable and good breakfast. I highly recommend this for those who are visiting Dublin. The service was great and getting to Grafton street easy
"Very nice hotel "
This hotel had great accommodations and a very helpful staff! Upon arrival we got an upgraded room with extra space, and the rooms were extremely clean with all the amenities you'd need in a hotel (including washcloths which is rare). Wifi worked throughout the hotel and breakfast was very good, and worth the price. It is a bit of a walk to get closer to the city center but there's a cable car station right next to the hotel that will take you there.
"A must stay"
My sister and I traveled to London and Ireland this past Spring. Out of the two hotels we stayed in (one in london and one in Ireland). Ashling was the best! The rooms were large with a roomy bathroom. You have to have a key to access the doors to wing/hallway where your is thus keeping out non belongers. The breakfasts was a large selection (I recommend getting a package that includes breakfast becasue it's a little pricey alone). The breakfasts even had sweet waffles! Location: Guiness factory, museum, Jamerson distillery, shopping, great restaurants and pubs with set menus at great prices), and the train & bus are all with in blocks and walking distance. They even have free ponchos for all the rain Ireland gets. Did I mention the pay for bikes at the corner (these were mostly gone fast and early in the morning). The parking lot in behind and under the hotel which was great for the one day we rented a car to see Cliffs of Moher. I will be returning next year with my family and we will be staying here without a doubt.
"Great hotel in a great location"
The people at the hotel are great and extra helpful to tourists. The rooms are nice. The location is right across the river from both a light rail stop and the Guinness Storehouse, both a big plus. The hotel does not have a gym but there is a massive park just two blocks away. Plenty of amenities close by; pubs, restaurants, ATM, etc.
"Very enjoyable stay"
We arrived at 10 am having left England on a 6.30 am flight, hoping to leave our bags. We were delighted to be told that there was a room available and we could occupy straight away. The room was just what was required with all the amenities one would expect. All the staff on with one exception, a male receptionist, were really helpful. The continental breakfast was superb with a large choice and very reasonably priced at 10 Euros. The meals in the restaurant and the bar were also good and reasonably priced.
