"Great place to stay!"
This was such a comfortable hotel! Everything is new and tastefully decorated. Vinia, at the front desk was so lovely and helpful. Nothing was a problem for her! The location was fantastic. We were a short block away from restaurants (kosher ones as well) and supermarkets. The beach was another short block away. We stayed there for 6 nights and felt very safe.
"Fantastic hotel apartment, highly recommended! "
We were so impressed with Atlantic Affair. It is small and does not have a restaurant or other facilities you'd find in a large chain hotel but it more than makes up for it in other ways. There is a small kitchen area in the room if you do want to eat in but with the cost of eating out in Cape Town being so cheap we just ate out most of the time. The room on the first floor was very spacious with a massive double bed, amazing shower and a balcony. Loads of storage space and it was nice and quiet. The room was cleaned every day to high standards and the staff were all lovely. There is secure parking behind a key code gate, albeit a bit tight if you're taking the last space. There is a Checkers supermarket a few minutes walk along the road and a fridge in the romcom you can use for anything you buy there. There's also a safe in the room. Great location with a cool coffee bar (Bootleggers) on the corner about 2p seconds walk away. You are also close to loads of amazing restaurants. We would highly recommend NV-80. Amazing steaks! One minute walk down to the Sea Point promenade where I went 's run every morning alongside all the locals. It's also really easy to get to the V&A waterfront. We used the red sightseeing bus for two days, a great way to see the city and there is a stop less than 10 mins walk from the hotel. We walked back from the V&A twice in daylight. Took about 45 mins. I wouldn't do that walk at night but it was perfectly safe to walk around the hotel area and main street in Sea Point at night. You also have to go to the fantastic Mojo Market also about 30 seconds walk from the hotel. A wonderful food market where you can grab lunch or dinner or just listen to live music. We would highly recommend Atlantic Affair. Such great value for money and it exceeded our expectations!
"Nice hotel, recommend!"
This is a small hotel with few rooms only. We liked our stay, the rooms are clean, the stuff is very kind and patient to explain what you need and give hints for trips. Wifi for free. Only thing we didn't like is that the hotel is a little noisy what is water flushing from other rooms or noise of doors from other rooms is concerned, you hear too much noise from other rooms.
Fantastic upmarket apartment in a stunning area in Sea Point. Brilliant choice of decor and design with beautiful views from the 3rd floor. Absolutely fantastic attention to detail and needs of the guest! Can highly recommend this gorgeous place!
"reat location, close to restaurants, bars, shops (few shopping centre) and a few meters of walking one is on the beach"
Great location, close to restaurants, bars, shops (few shopping centre) and a few meters of walking one is on the beach. Location is also not too far from Table Mountain and Waterfront, enjoyed my stay. Conversely, I did not like the small TV (including that there was less choice in TV channels), bathroom sink (too small, I could not shave), shower didn't drain 100% and I could hear sounds from other bathrooms (need to sound proof or change the way pipes are moving waste)
