Ayre Hotel Sevilla enjoys a strategic location in one of the best commercial and business areas of the city, in front of the station of Santa Justa (AVE terminal), in a very active and dynamic area full of shops, malls, cinemas and restaurants.
The hotel is located just 10 minutes from the Palacio de Congresos and 15 minutes from the international airport "St. Paul" "bus stop in front of the hotel".

"Not bad but not the best either"
We booked through Trip Advisor which went smooth. We got a room in the eight floor which has not been renovated according to other reviews that I just read. Kind of tired and old design which still works fine but not the AC. I have been running it full speed but it verily cools the room. All the staff that I have spoken to have been very nice, that included replacing the mini bar that was not working upon checking in.
First impressions, not so good, we arrived at San justa station and we could see hotel, it looked old and tired looking, on entering hotel it was not so bad, the reception and foyer was pretty modern and has a busy feel to it. Checked in super quickly and given a room on 7th floor, we stepped out of elevator and was like stepping back in time , really dated decor carpets and hotel doors, I had a sinking feeling room wasn't going to be good. Again first impressions not good, but I can honestly say having spent 3 nights there it's not so bad , it's old fashioned, but on the plus side it's clean , spacious , airy , the bathroom appears to have been renovated and it had a bath with constant hot water, the built in hairdryer was useless in the bathroom but once I requested a spare that was that sorted. We did not eat in the hotel , I can highly recommend a restaurant down the street la flor de azafran , where we had dinner 2 nights. Pool was lovely and relaxing to spend an hour or two in the evening to relax in . Overall it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay Thank you
"No better hotel in Seville if you’re traveling by train visiting nearby cities"
Location>>> The hotel location is excellent, especially if you plan to take day trips by train from the Santa Justa station to nearby cities eg. Cordoba. The train station is only about 300 meters away (5 min walk), so close you can even see the station diagonally across from the hotel. If you are coming from the airport, you can take the Airport bus, which costs only 4 Euro one-way, and you alight by the time you count the 4th bus stop departing from the airport. The aerobus stops just like 20 meters from the hotel door. This hotel is a good choice, as there is also Bus No.21 right opposite the hotel, that comes every 15 mins or so, and takes about 20 minutes to the city center. And there are other buses too, like No. 32 that comes from other parts of the city and stops right after the hotel doorway. TIP>>> If you are spending a few days in Seville, it is worthwhile to buy the prepaid bus card. It costs Euro 8.50 (which comprises 1.50 for the card, and includes Euro 7.00 value in the card for use). Each trip per person costs like 0.69 cents (without transfer option), or 0.74 (with free transfer to another bus within the hour or two). This surely beats paying Euro 1.40 per trip per person if you pay in cash. But if you are only staying a day or two, probably cash is your preferred and they do give change on the bus. But if there are 2 or 3 or you on the trip, then definitely you should get this card because you can share 1 card among yourselves. Just tap the no. of times for no. of persons when you board the bus. This card can be purchased at small provisional stores/kiosks, which I found one just opposite the hotel. And when depleting, you can ask the kiosk/store to add Euro 7.00 if you anticipate more trips needed. This card can be used for the tram as well. Most attractions are walkable from city center, so don’t waste time, money and most important save yourself the anxiety of a rental car. The roads are crazy and narrow, and you’ll be shocked with the parking rates and the chronic shortage of parking space. There is also great difficulty in identifying where on which road you are. It will be highly frustrating when you finally arrived your destination but cannot tour while you’re stuck in your car, given you can’t find parking. If mobility is an issue, taking taxis may work out much better. Breakfast >>> The spread is not wide compared to those international hotels, but the quality is considered good for the price you pay at this hotel. There is a selection of ham, notably the local Iberian ham, and fruits include the better stuff like strawberries, not just the usual melons and oranges and other fruits. The breads, muffins and croissants/tarts are delicious too, especially with the toaster to brown your breads to be crisp at the edges and soft on the inner sides. On beverages, there is Nespresso coffee machines with capsules of coffee at different strengths to your liking, amongst juices that tastes like the real fruit, not flavored syrups, and to my surprise, even sparkling wine to start your day! Best of all, the breakfast is served from 7am – 11am daily, which is great for late sleepers like myself. And you probably save money on lunch, given it’s brunch you are taking. Another plus, the service staff diligently clear the tables so that you don’t end up piling up too much cutlery (signs of just how much you’ve eaten… hahaha) Rooms >>> The room was modern (which means my room on 3rd floor was among select floors were renovated), nice and clean. On check in, you will find a very complete toiletry pouch in the bathroom. In these pouches, besides the usual cotton buds, shower caps, body lotion, comb, shaver, they even included a shoe horn which is unseen in any of the other hotels I’ve ever stayed. The beds were comfortable…. partly explains why I am a late sleeper. The pillows were long, meaning pillows were as long as the width of the bed, so you get neck support throughout your sleep, no matter whether you rolled to the sides of the center of the bed. There is sufficient lighting, with additional bedside LED spotlight that allows your partner to sleep if you choose to read something. Bonus: To add, they include daily replenishment of water (500ml bottles) complimentary, 1 still and 1 sparkling. The room comes with air-conditioning too, so great even in the summer months. Facilities and staff >>> There is a nice lobby waiting area, a restaurant (but I didn’t get to try), and I noted they also have swimming pool (which I was didn’t view it either). Not sure if there is a gym, but given I was touring, I’d prioritize spending the time walking outside than indoors.
I picked this hotel because it is across the street from Main train station in Sevilla. We were traveling by train in Spain. However it was a 25 minute walk to the Alcazar and Cathedral but it was an easy walk. Good buffet breakfast and clean rooms. Employees were nice and helpful. Had 7th floor room and was not bothered by street noise. All very nice restaurant.
"Online Prices 30% higher than Price Commitment "
The hotel so far was ok except the pricing and managing service. Place wise it is far away from historical buildings or central touristic places. Only ok if your voyage goes with train, as very close to station. Not recommended when coming with airline. No bar ambiance at end of day. No welcome service with baggage and so. Local hotel management is not allowed to act appropriately. Customer has to act and speak to management abroad. Bathroom is to small for hotel position and over-price level. For me it fails completely for the high price and stars they promote. Details about Pricing lies von Ayre: There was 30% expensiver to book online directly than the official price sheet in the room. The official pricing sheet was given with minimal price from 190 to maximal price with 260. Online they wrongly stated to best price warranty wich is a big lies. Mr. Ferrari (local manager) understand the situation and agreed an the price lies. But request for compensation at the lobby with Mr. Ferrari and Managing Director Jacobo Lope Salazar fails even Mr. Ferrari promised an immediate phone call from Mr. Salazar to clarify. Emails to Directors fails too as no answer received within 72 hours. Still awaiting agreement for compensation toward best price warranty. Due to the facts we can not recommend this hotel further.
