"Living the dream"
I have dreamt about taking my wife to this hotel since it appeared in Pretty Woman, finally at 53 l could afford it and it did not disappoint - we have come back to the UK feeling that this was money well spent. After spending five hours driving to be greeted by Nicholas at the door was a relief (The service was so good he is the only doormans name l have ever remembered) All the staff were happy and pleasant to deal with and were accommodating of our needs from recommending a local Italian for a casual night out to a bottle of champagne by the pool. The room was spotless, the cleaners paid attention to detail and we have come home feeling that this was one of the best calls we ever made.
"Great service and attention to detail"
The Four Seasons service is always perfection. The staffs attention to detail is 5 star across the board. We arrived early and were given early checkin and a free upgrade as we were celebrating our anniversary and first time away without children. We dined at a local restaurant on the first night and the hotel called ahead and prepaid for our dessert as a gift for our anniversary - such a beautiful touch. The main house car which is complimentary within a 2.3mile radius was a black Rolls Royce. Such elegance! Great rooms, beds, piano bar and gym. Pool on the smaller side however understandable given the price of land in Beverly Hills and the age of the hotel. My only negative would be the cost of massages. US $230 per person. (30-40% higher than other Four Season hotels we have stayed in).
The hotel is very nice.We took a suite. The furnishings of the hotel are really just OK...or maybe I had high expectations. Everything was just right in the rooms.Ammenities were just ok and everything was on point. For me..it was a dream come true, staying in Beverly Hills..right there next to Rodeo Drive. Breakfast overlooking DIOR..uh-may-zing. Unforgettable moments of my life. Thank you.
We decided to end our week long Southern California trip at this property and couldn't have been happier. From the second you are whisked out of of your car at valet you realize that the level of service is beyond what we have experienced at other properties of this caliber. We had a suite in the Beverly side of the hotel where they made up the pullout couch for our kids with adorable sheets and left them treats. (Happy kids = happy parents). This hotel has two sides to it. The Beverly and The Wiltshire. They have two lobbies but you can easily travel between the buildings using either an outside or inside walkway. The pool area was on the smaller side but perfect for anyone looking to get some sun or take a quick dip. We enjoyed a lunch downstairs as well as cocktails in the bar near the steakhouse. The service was top notch as was the food. And you're a stone throw away from Rodeo Drive. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.
"Service and attention to detail was second to none! "
We have just returned less than 24 hours from staying in the Beverly Wilshire and I just couldn't wait to jump online and write a review. Myself and two girlfriends were there to celebrate a significant birthday for one of us and I can not thank the staff at the hotel enough for the treatment they gave us. This commenced right from the very moment we checked in. I wish I had gotten the guys name who helped us at reception but hopefully he will know who he is! We checked in around 11am, way before the suggested 3pm and were immediately shown to our room. Which, by the way, was kindly upgraded to a room with a view and balcony by the kind gentleman at reception (sorry I so wish I could remember your name!) We were promptly shown to our room which was a fantastic two bedded balcony room with loads of space and wonderfully well laid out and furnished. As you would expect from such a renowned hotel! The bathrooms in particular were worth noting as they were so spacious. The balcony was also surprisingly large and was ample for the three of us to sit out on. This particular afternoon we used the pool on the second floor of our wing. Unfortunately when we arrived there were no free beds. It was totally our fault nothing to do with the hotel we should have thought ahead but word to the wise reserve beds early in the day if the hotel is busy! That being said John took particularly good care of us and showed us to a day bed to use until three loungers became available. I would say this took no more than 30 mins and we were perched up for the day on very comfortable loungers. John was particularly attentive with the Evian spray etc and did a really good job attending to everyone during a very busy period. A friend of ours from home had pre ordered a bottle of champagne to be delivered to us to celebrate the aforementioned birthday but unfortunately the pool bar was under staffed this particular afternoon due to the manager having to go home sick. This resulted in a delay in our drinks and food order which really didn't bother us as we were there for afternoon anyway. This is when we encountered Grant Nelson, who I can't thank enough!! Grant is the Blvd general manager and had arrived to the pool area to help out due to the staffing issue. Without us having to complain he realised we had been waiting a while and swooped into action to rectify things. Not only that at the end of the day he hadn't charged us for our champagne and nibbles due to the delay! This was so so kind and we were very touched by his generosity! We thanked him and explained we were over from Ireland celebrating a birthday etc but his favourable treatment didn't stop poolside. We were in the Blvd bar that evening and he had arranged for a cake to be sent to the birthday girl. Honestly we were so surprised and grateful and couldn't thank him enough!! There were other occasions too that our expectations were surpassed by Grant (and indeed the many other wonderful staff) too many to mention here! Everyone from the door men, bar and restaurant staff and the concierge, Edward, each and everyone of them were so pleasant and helpful. Honestly if you are in Beverly Hills and even if you don't stay at the hotel check out the food for not only it's quality but also the attentive service you will receive! I can not recommend the hotel enough and once again Grant thank you for everything you did for us during our stay, we will definitely be planning a return trip very soon.
