The hotel has a great location very close to the walking market that take place over the weekend, which is a must. In addition, the hotel is very close to all the temples within the old town, bars and restaurants. It is very clean and well furbished. Once of the biggest minuses is the noise. The cleaning and maintenance staff started working around 8 am and were very load, making almost impossible to have kind of late sleep in the morning. The restaurant and bar were not open during my three day staying, which made it inconvenient to use the pool without drinks or food. One of the disappointments was when I tried to arrange my pick up from the airport to the hotel and they wanted to charge me 250 baht, when it was only 150 baht with the agency at the airport. On the way back to the airport I used the agency serving at the hotel and they charged me 200 baht, which I accepted, but did not expect that from the hotel. The breakfast was ok. The service was ok, but not particularly helpful or friendly.
"Nice Boutique Hotel in Old Town Chiang Mai"
We had booked the one bedroom suite for the three of us. There was one king bed and they brought in another single. It worked out just fine. The room was nicely appointed with dark wood floors and furniture. There was a separate living room and a small kitchen with a small stove, fridge, and sink. The bed was super comfy and the pillows, sheets and linens were of good quality. The bathroom was very large with a huge bath tub, which could almost pass as a small pool. The water pressure was not great and the water temperature fluctuated drastically while taking a shower. But no big deal. The wifi was quite poor and you had to keep logging in with a login and password every time you shut down your tablet or phone. Again not a big deal for us. The hotel grounds were also very nice. A lot of water effects and good landscaping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged for our taxi service to the airport as well. The location of this hotel was great. About 0.6 miles from the night market. Easily walkable, but we used a tuk tuk every time as it was super hot in April. The main temples are easily walkable from the hotel as was the Sunday walking street. There were plenty of restaurant and bars in the vicinity as well. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was a great experience. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and breathtaking. We enjoyed the stay so much we juggled our plans to stay an additional night. The nightlife was within walking distance, as well as the night markets. Plenty of things to see in do in town but coming back to the hotel room was always a joy.
We loved this hotel. The room was top notch. The main swimming pool is built one story up and affords a bit of a view. You can order food and drinks, including alcohol, poolside and charge to your room. The hotel is low- rise and modern. Our room was a bit secluded near the smaller second pool which was quiet all of our stay. The consierge at the front desk booked the outings I selected and didn't try to sell me any other tours. Hotel is walled from the street and feels very private. Breakfast included was fine.
"A PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO KEEP COMING BACK"
I've visited this place for many years now and although I usually choose to change hotels and discover other things, I cannot change my mind about this one, it's always my first choice. Nice personnel, very friendly, loving caring people. Very good restaurant in the hotel. Even if you do not stay there, you can have a great meal here for a very cheap price. Tour desk organizing lots of visits or daytrips but you can ask for a driver to do a personalized tour or personalized visits at your pace for a very affordable price. Great rooms - very spacious - a new wing has been opened recently. Very good choice in breakfast (i miss the rice soup which was served on the breakfast buffet in previous visits!) Please put it back on the buffet! Nice swimming pool and chairs, places to relax! Very zen garden with little squirrels jumping around and little fountains....a most unforgettable place to stay a few days to discover ChiangMai. Very good location too!
