Bohem Art Hotel is the newest unique hotel in Budapest.
Besides its excellent location in the historic downtown, 50 meters from both Vaci street and the Danube, it not only combines the style of the most demanded city hotels (design and hip hotels), but possesses a unique, distinguishable quality: the building, which was home to the former Szénássy Körzögyár is now not only a hotel, but an art gallery as well, where the young, contemporary Hungarian art is present in every corner. Enjoy your coffee for free from 14 till 17h in the bar.
Bohem Art Hotel is located in the center of the historic downtown. Only a few steps from the beautiful Danube and the breathtaking scenery of the Gellert-hegy as it towers above the city, with the Citadel and the famous Liberty-statue on its peak. The internationally known Gellert bath can be reached by a short walk through the recently renovated Liberty-bridge.
The most famous shopping street in Budapest is the nearby Vaci Street, which is a popular hub of restaurants, cafés, clubs and shops for the visitors wishing to discover the city.

"Great place to be in"
The hotel is a good place to stay in while in Budapest. breakfast is rich and varied and everything is tasty. the staff is lovely and welcoming all the time. even though the room was small, for my wife and myself it was enough. the only downside is that the mattress is very soft.
"Great accommodation, but no relaxation"
We chose this hotel for its central location and great reviews. The property is very nice and many themed rooms are really wonderful. What distinguishes this establishment is the staff, friendly, competent and always helpful, they have made our stay memorable. The only rumble note was the too many noise coming down the street side (we had a room on the first floor) and the housekeeping of the rooms that started too early (before 8pm) which prevented us from completely relaxing. Breakfast abundant and varied, really good. We would certainly go back, but in a different room and not on the first floor.
I stayed here 3 nights and was pleased with my choice. The room was modern and clean and had all the facilities that I needed including a good bathroom, minibar and safe. Bed was comfortable. My room was a reasonable size too. It's in a really good location, just off one of the main tourists streets - but in a quiet street itself. It's also near a bridge to get over the Danube and a Metro station just a couple of hundred metres away. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold food. Staff were always helpful. There is a small bar but not much else. Overall, for me, a great choice.
A modern designed boutique hotel in a great location near the Grand Markets and Liberty Bridge. Also public transport is a block away as is the main Pest shopping street with heaps of restaurants. The rooms however are on the small size. And the walls are getting quite scuffed because of the lack of space. A coat of paint would help. The bathroom is also a little small but with modern finishes. However the shower has a strange design with no door or screen so it floods the whole bathroom floor, very annoying. And the TV channel choices are pretty poor with only one English TV channel. The bed and pillows were comfortable & suited me. Unfortunately like most European hotels you get two single duvets on a double bed. I don't understand what the issue is that a duvet that covers the entire bed is not supplied. Being a big guy a single duvet hardly covers me. However instead of the duvets I asked for an extra bed sheet which I got nicely folded each day at the bottom of the bed. But for some reason it was left to me to make up the bed with it each night. Don't understand!!! I have read some reviews criticising the breakfast here. I really don't get this criticism as I found it one of the best buffet breakfasts I have experienced in Europe. There were plenty of choices - cold and hot, healthy & not so. And I found the breakfast & front desk staff friendly & efficient. A nice place to stay but could be so much better.
Bohem Art Hotel is a great small hotel in the perfect location to explore all of Budapest's great attractions. All tourist sites are within easy walking distance or accessible by nearby public transportation. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Terrific breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel!
