Located inside the ancient city walls close to the Cathedral, Can Cera is in the very heart of the Old City, between the Plaza de Santa Eulalia and the Plaza de San Francisco.
"Outstanding Botique Hotel in Palama"
My wife and I styed four nights at this outstanding boutique hotel while we were in Palma to attend a wedding. This marvelous hotel is in the "old town" part of Palma. It was previously a mansion now converted to a modern hotel but still retains its old world charm. The hotel is located on one of the quaint old town streets near several of the major old town squares. It is about a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. The rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet and spotlessly clean. The staff at this hotel could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Each and every staff person we met, from the front desk staff to the chamber maids, made you feel that they were there to make your stay as comfortable and wonderful as possible. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful with directions, sightseeing recommendations and making reservations. The hotel has a charming dining room with a good menu and outstanding service and also has a lovely roof top deck for sunbathing and relaxing. In addition, it also has a small spa and does provide massages either in the spa or in your hotel room. This is absolutely a wonderful place to stay while in Palma, especially if you would like to capture some of the old world charm of old town. It is definitely a place that I would want to come back to. However, there is only once complaint I have about the hotel. Although the bathroom is very modern and beautiful, it is weird in that it does not provide any real privacy. There is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom and so there is very little privacy when using the toilet. In addition, the shower arrangement needs some improvement. The shower is a hand-held shower on a bar in the bathtub. There is only a very small door separating the bathtub from the rest of the bathroom and so it is not surprising that when you use the shower, the water from the shower goes all over the bathroom. It is also not very easy to get in and out of the bathtub. I think that this bathroom was designed to be very modern, but its openness and the difficult to use shower is a draw back. I think that the hotel needs to address this issue which can easily be resolved by putting in a full shower door and putting a door between the bathroom and the bedroom. All that being said, this did not stop me from giving this hotel a five star rating.
"Quaint, and Detailed"

"Oh yes you Can !"
Our 4 x night stay in Palma last week could not have been better.....A beautiful boutique hotel, in a great location, plus really lovely staff.....with a a special mention for Bianca. A complimentary drink on arrival in the courtyard, then a quick tour of the hotel before being shown to our room - beautiful, spacious and with a huge comfy bed. Everywhere in Palma 'Old Town' was so easily walk-able from this lovely hotel - we will return!
"Excellent service, beautiful hotel"
Excellent service, beautiful hotel. They have combined chic modern rooms with a beautiful historic building.Great location in the middle of the old town. Lovely peaceful courtyard minutes away from bustle of Palma. Highly recommend
"Beautifully Restored Boutique Hotel"
I have little to add to the previous reviews of this lovely hotel. The professional and delightful staff, made our stay particularly enjoyable. We had a very spacious and comfortable room, beautifully furnished and with well thought out bathroom facilities, mirrors and lighting. Our room was on the second floor, overlooking the narrow and mainly pedestrian road below. As expected in the heart of this ancient city, there was some noise from below but it didn't disturb us unduly. However, the building work in progress on the opposite side of the road was pretty noisy at times and it would be worth checking with the hotel if this were to influence your choice of room. We made the decision to ignore it as we spent little time in the room during the day and it would have been an upheaval to move to another. We dined in the restaurant on our first night and had an excellent breakfast in the hotel each morning. The location of Can Cera is perfect for a visit to Palma. Everything we wished to see was within walking distance. We had no need of a car and can recommend the use of the efficient local buses to explore further afield.
