"3 days in Toledo"
Stayed at this lovely hotel conveniently situated in a quiet area of this beautiful old historic city of steep narrow cobbled streets & loads of beautiful place to see. The room was modern, very clean, twin beds pushed together. A lovely modern en suite bathroom with bath/ shower. The room had a safe & small fridge, plenty of hangers, & quiet hot/ cold air con.! The hotel only provided breakfast, no other meals. This was a traditional serve yourself buffet, with cereals, ftuit ,cold meats, do your own toast, & machines for hot drinks & juice. No fresh cooked foods, e.g. bacon & eggs. I would certainly stay here again.
"Toledo! Want to come back "
Nice hotel, very well located, you can walk to all the attractions. All rooms are different, some are very small and others are bigger. Good buffet breakfast. A lot of choices. Rooms are spotless. No carpets. Very helpful attentive staff.
"Fabulous hotel in the centre "
This hotel is in good position in old town Toledo. Nice rooms. Good size bathroom , toiletries supplied. Hotel has an excellent roof terrace where you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast is very good , great choice. Hotel doesn't have parking.... but you can leave the car in a car park near by and the hotel gives you discount... parking is 14 euros a day . I would stay there again . Very good quality.
"Nothing negative to say!"
Nice hotel, great location, nice staff and they speak good English, adequate breakfast, very clean rooms and cost wise great value. Stayed 3 nights and would definitely stay here again. You will not be disappointed!
"Central reasonably priced hotel - hard to beat"
This was the most reasonably priced of the hotels/paradors we stayed in on our road trip between Valencia and Cascais and was excellent value for money. The parador was full and since we last stayed there some 30 years ago has got rather big plus you have to get into the centre of Toledo if you want to see the sites. Much better to stay at Carlos V. The only tricky thing is parking - rather than follow the video guide on the website I think it is better to go directly to the underground Indigo car park and then wheel your cases the short distance to the hotel - that way you can avoid driving some of the narrow streets in Toledo. The hotel has a discount card on the daily rate - at this car park you don't need to hand over your car keys. The staff are welcoming. There is a fantastic rooftop terrace/bar area which opens at 5pm. Our room 404 was smallish but clean and perfectly acceptable
