"I love Claridge's"
There is nothing I don't love about Claridge's. Beautiful art deco interiors, impeccable service, wonderful dining, glorious afternoon teas, it's got the lot. No, it's not cheap, but you are paying for a level of luxury and service that a notch above. If you've got the money and want to eat or stay in a wonderful example of what a luxury hotel should be, go here.
"The most amazing new year and celebration"
We were celebrating a major life event and wanted somewhere to stay that would suitably mark the occasion and there was only one place to go... Claridges! From the moment we arrived the atmosphere, the service , the food and most importantly the people were faultless. Our last minute request for a baby sitter on New years eve was dealt with with aplomb and we simply could not fault it. For every occasion i would agree with Spencer Tracey and say ' Forget heaven go to Claridges'.
"Family Holiday to Top all Others"
My husband and I spent five incredible nights at this gem of a hotel. We arrived on Christmas Eve from Chicago with an EXTREMELY jet lagged almost two year old, and from the moment we walked into the hotel I was at ease. Everyone could not be more welcoming and the front desk new our daughter by name. Our room was not quite ready so they put us in the lounge which was perfect because it allowed our daughter to rest. They came to get us shortly after and personally walked us up to our room. When they opened the doors we were just in shock. They upgraded our Jr. Suite to the massive Claridge's Suite. This truly made our holiday incredible. We had this breath taking room and could actually enjoy it because we could let our daughter sleep in the bedroom and still relax in the main room. It came with butler services which included unpacking! We had our own Christmas tree in the corner and throughout the first few days we continually were given gifts from the hotel. The gifts for our daughter kept on coming as well, her favorite was a personalized teddy bear. Our travel agent was really pushing for us to stay here and I was leaning more towards a four seasons. Finally I listened and I could not have been happier. This place isn't just a hotel, it gives you a special feeling. It is so British in all the right ways. Its glamorous, yet its also cozy. There are tons of children around so you don't feel out of place with a toddler running up and down the stairs. The location is perfection. Honestly, I don't know how you can top this hotel for a city get away. I can promise you the next time we go to London we will be staying at Claridge's!
"Beyond Anything We Could have Dreamed …"
Our stay at Claridge’s was the most incredible visit we have ever experienced at a hotel (and we travel a fair bit). I cannot find words to properly describe our experience. Our visit took place during the December – January holiday period. We were blown away from the moment we entered the room. We had booked two adjoining king rooms for our family, and they upgraded one of those rooms to a suite, with a beautiful sitting room that had a comfortable couch much loved by our son. The extra space also meant that our children had plenty of space in which to run around and explore their new surroundings. Each room had loads of closet space and storage areas, so it was easy to have all of our supplies close at hand yet neatly tucked away. The beds were amazingly comfortable – although our children often fell asleep in the equally comfortable armchairs located in the bedrooms. The hotel thought of every detail to make the stay enjoyable for our family, from providing cribs and a Moses basket, equipping the toilets with child-friendly steps and booster seats – and providing two excellent strollers/prams for us to use during our stay. One stroller was brand new – they had purchased it specifically with our visit in mind! We loved the fruit baskets that were left in our room, the two (!) gorgeous and delicious gingerbread houses, and the handwritten note from the housekeeping team wishing our family a happy new year. Really first-class gestures, and very much appreciated. Probably the most impressive aspect of our visit is the fact that we had visited several months previously and had given some constructive feedback. The hotel not only took our concerns seriously, but on our return visit they actively worked, throughout our stay, to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves. It is truly impressive that an illustrious five-star hotel such as this one, with its equally illustrious clientele, is so willing to listen and respond to the concerns of individual guests. Our heartfelt thanks to Eugene, Casper and Andrea and the rest of the guest services team for all of their efforts in arranging our visit. And a special thank-you to the housekeeping team for preparing our room to perfection, remembering our preferences better than we remembered them ourselves, and for always taking the time to check in during our stay to see how things were going. We will remember this visit for the rest of our lives, and look forward to making Claridge’s our family hotel in London
"Service fit for a King or Queen:)"
I had such a wonderful time at this hotel . The service was unbelievable the restaurants incredible. Only a few hotels that can live up to your standards. Please maintain I won't be able to visit you this year but damn well next year. I spend eight nights. Cried when I was leaving. I ,however, thought I saw Winston Churchill walking along room hallway. Then again it could have been those fabulous drinks at you bar. Tell those great people at the Foyer the Culmer's from the Bahamas said Hello.
