This was my third stay at Clyton Chiswick and so far the best. Not to much people in the hotel, excellent work from reseption at arrival with very pleasant behaviour. Not the best place for dinner, but ok for a quick late meal. Breakfast was not bad, but too english for my taste. Fruit was avaliable at choice. Excellent room and bed, lighting in the bathroom in not good enough. Lightlevel needs to be increased. Conveniently placing of the hotel for me, I will be back.
"Great Hotel in a good location"
Beautiful room and bathroom excellent restaurant serving great food The breakfast was very good indeed Very quiet room slept very well We are returning in December Car park is available at the hotel for a fee you can also park out side the hotel on the road
This hotel is situated in Chiswick, west London. It is modern, with a nice lounge/bar/restaurant. Bustop directly in front of the hotel, underground (Gunnersbury) one block away. For arrival via Heathrow take the Picadilly line into the city and change onto the district line at Earl's Court back to Gunnersbury station. Hotel personnel is very friendly (desk and breakfast and bar) and helpful. Breakfast buffet is plenty and fresh. Hotel is mainly a business hotel, has conference rooms. We stayed there during our city trip. The room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom modern with shower and seperate tub, however shower head could be renewed! Important to know: we were told the hotel only has king rooms and no single rooms (with single bed). The king bed has a double duvet, so one big duvet for 2 people. If you want to share with someone other than your spouse, be aware of this. Single duvets are not available. For quiet rooms ask for rooms facing the back.
"Great for the family"
I have stayed here for business several times but this time was with the family for weekend in London. The hotel is very modern and feels very relaxed. Gunnersbury tube station is just across the road so we were able to get from the hotel to the Natural History Museum in about 20 mins, with no changes. We also went into Richmond for dinner which took 10 mins. The Hotel is great for central London but also let’s you explore West London too. It was also our daughters 11th birthday and the staff very kindly decorated the room for us with balloons etc which we provided, so when we checked in it was a great surprise for her. Breakfast is great and free for the kids and parking under the Hotel and not being far away from the end of the M4 means it’s great to get to in the car and then head into London by tube. The sofa bed in the family room is a little small for 2 children to share, but our girls were fine for one night, and was compensated by them having their own tv with full Sky in a separate area of a large room.
"Ticks all the boxes for us"
First came to this hotel in August when we went to Kew Gardens and returned over the weekend when we went to Borough Market and saw a show. It is ideal if you are driving to London and want to stay in a good hotel with friendly staff and importantly for us secure parking with close access to the underground. Deluxe and Executive rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable and food was fine - many good restaurants also within walking distance. Ticks all the boxes for us and I know that we we will regularly use this hotel in the future and recommend it to our friends making similar trips up to London
