"Nice hotel nice room but slightly old dated"
Located in a quiet area, Tanjong Beona, where you just love the quietness and enjoys the sea. I booked a deluxe king garden accessible. Requested to have my room close to my family is subject to availablity, and glad to have my room beside one of my family. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was international with asian good. It was good. Love the hotel, some furnitures and fittings were abit old dated yet well maintained. Staffs were friendly however one of the staffs, Effie, might had a bad hair day or was it just simply I made a few queries on activities that were on the website but she aint has much idea. I doesnt want to have a bad day either, and understand that being in service line is a tough job so I decided to back off and head to check out my room first. Came back after few hours, conicidentally she attended to me and finally got me a copy of activities. Overall, as this hotel is one of my family's favourite to stay in Bali, and with the above I would be glad to come back.
"One week stay for relaxation"
When we arrived here there was a mix up in our reservation due to communication between Hilton central reservation and the hotel in Bali. However it was resolved instantly by young lady called Albino who offered us a upgrade to Lagoon access room which was to say the least fabulous. Furthermore we then had personal visit from the assistant guest relation manager to our room and he offered us further upgrade to resolve the mixup. His name was Alus and I would like to congratulate him on his customer relation skills. All this made our stay most memorable and I would not hesitate to come back here again in near future. I will also recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Yesterday we had a full massage and a scrub in the hotel's Jiwa spa which was also worth every penny as the therapist was well trained and very skilful at her job. There is a shopping centre near here called Bali Collection to which there is a courtesy coach every few hours and the last one brings you back at 10 pm but centre is open till midnight. There are fabulous variety of restaurants and shops here and I would recommend a visit here in the evening.
"A Super Luxurious Stay"
Our stay in Conrad Bali was exceptional. The property is gorgeous... the rooms, the facilities, the pool, the beach is beyond words. The staff too is courteous. A perfect place to enjoy a relaxing, fun-filled stay in Bali.
We stay five nights in this hotel. Conrad's suite is huge, but it has a gap after the window and the door of the balcony are closed. Therefore, some mosquito can fly in our room. The suite is similar to Banyan Tree (Thailand), but it is dated. Fruits is not fresh. Laundry service is very good. Lounge is nice wherever inside and outside. e.g. finger food in cocktail hours is excellent. High tea food is ok. Housekeeper does a great job to fill the tea bags(tasty excellent), and bottle water everyday. In fact, suite area is very nice, quiet, clean and well maintained. Staffs are very polite and friendly. This hotel has a second door to go outside behind RIN restaurant. It has a small local Chinese restaurant (Kantin Abel Chinese food) between the front door and the second door of this hotel, which serves good food, especially fried chicken leg. It is a family business. Food is tasty and not pricey. e.g. US$2.50 for a fried chicken with rice. We believe RIN restaurant is famous in the area. So, we try the breakfast there. It has a lot of insects (fruit flies, flies etc) flying around. Fruits doesn't look fresh there. Eight Degrees Restaurant and SUKU restaurant have similar breakfast selection. Eight Degrees Restaurant is not open everyday and it looks cleaner than RIN. SUKU is a big place, where is very busy. Hotel's beach is not private, so it is a bit noisy for local business, and water activities. The location of this hotel is great, who can walk to local restaurants, street food, Starbucks, massage place, local market (Pasar Sui Art Marker)convenience stores, small supermarket etc. It takes 40mins walk (better to take a taxi) to Peninsula and Nusa Dharma Island (to see waterblow), Bali Collection, which has a long beach, restaurants, and SOGO etc. It is a great stay. Hopefully, this hotel can work on insect control.
I went with my family and stayed at Conrad for 4 nights for wedding celebrations. And what a celebration it was ! Excellent hotel with a big swimming pool. Friendly staff who were very accommodating. Would definitely go there again
