"Amazing Hotel & Location"
My partner & I had a few days in Singapore early Nov. 2017 & had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Conrad Centennial. We took advantage of a Luxury Escapes deal which gave us access to the Executive Lounge on the 31st floor which had magnificent views, where wonderful attentive staff (particularly Jordie) provided services ranging from Breakfast to afternoon tea to evening cocktails. We also occasionally ate in the main breakfast area which had an amazing offer of scrumptious food. Our room was spacious & the King bed very comfortable. The hotel staff were professional & very friendly at all times. The Conrad Centennial is ideally located with only a short walk to popular tourist spots Gardens by the Bay, Raffles Hotel & the Marina Bay Sands as well as a number of large shopping centres. We look forward to staying there again when next we visit Singapore.
"Hilton level hotel in Singapore"
Very clean hotel and very convenient to the different malls in the area. You can walk to the Marina Bay gardens. It is near Orchard rd but not in the middle of the busy Orchard Rd. For me this is a plus because I get my peace at the end of my day at the office. The people in the hotel, staff and all, are very courteous, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Another plus is their bed and pillows which are very luxurious and comfortable. I did not have any back or neck problem after 2 weeks of stay.
"Exemplary service and value with the right card"
First you need to know I booked an executive room and have a Hilton diamond honors card. What follows flows naturally but still unexpectedly from these two facts. When we arrived at around 9.00am hot and tired from a twelve hour flight from London we went to reception in a very grand foyer, having given my name we were immediately whisked by one of the receptionists to 31st floor executive lounge where we were offered a seat and coffee. They had room immediately available,( strike 1 for diamond level), but a space available upgrade not available so how about a bottle of wine (strike 2 for diamond). Our bags had been removed from us at the hotel reception. The exec receptionist invited us into the lounge for breakfast buffetv(hot and cold dishes) whilst our luggage was brought to our room. She took time to explain the exec privileges premium Wi-Fi free, breakfast in lounge or Oscars restaurant, afternoon tea in the lounge free, cocktails in the lounge free. Having eaten, we moved to our room which was excellent. We had a fraught day for personal reasons so we’re back in the room in time to go for afternoon tea - finger sandwiches, scones, cakes from the buffet. Went again at 5.30 for cocktails - this consisted of help yourself sparkling wine, wine, spirits and beer until 8.00 we also noticed a selection of free hot and cold dishes and desserts. The next night we were going on the Night Safari at the Zoo and decided that we could grab dinner in the lounge. Choice that night was pasta, mussels and shepherds pie. Remember this is included if you book an exec room or have a diamond card. Strangely we did the same evening and had four well presented Chinese dishes. We tried Oscars for breakfast one morning but missed the strawberries and passion fruit halves in the lounge. The service in the hotel is efficient, friendly and professional. The pool is good. The lobby bar is relaxing - even if you do have to pay for drinks - just avoid the wasabi flavoured crisps that come with the drinks. They mix a mean Singapore sling. The beds by the way are vast and very very comfortable. Next time in Singapore I will be back.
"Great, great hotel!!"
I can highly recommend this hotel!! Everything is good about it, from their excellent collecting me from the airport after 22 hours flying time from Atlanta to check in, the amazing room and views to the detail amenities in the room. My stay was very short but I will certainly return and assure everyone the best Conrad I have stayed in anywhere in the world.
"Great location and room size!"
This is an interesting one for me. At the lobby, I was introduced to a Ms. Meloday, who happens to be the Assistant Director of Sales and she was really friendly and insightful. So after chatting, I headed up to the floor I was assigned. And OMG, the sudden change of ambience. While the main reception/lobby lounge area feels more Oriental-ish with (very) dim lighting and colours like deep red and gold, the guestroom's floor exuded an almost zen-like feel as your eyes feast on shades of neutrals and nudes accompanied with some really scent that really somehow calms you almost instantly. I was given one the the newly refurbished Classic rooms and really, I have to compliment that at 40sqm, it felt that it has lots of space especially with the use of high ceiling. Well-designed, room had a good city view which was really beautiful at night. I superrr loved the bathroom because the colours, the designs are really sleek and luxurious. I had dinner at Oscar's which was good value. The baked salmon was awesome and the cheese block thing they had near the salad station, was super interesting! Loved my stay here and will come back!
