"Small beach front, good resort "
Nice rooms fitting of the Conrad name. The beach is very private but it is quite small. The resort tries to make up for it with a floating platform with beach chairs and hammocks in the ocean which is fun and novel. Food here is decent. Weather was amazing when we came. Pricey resort but worth a try.
"A very beautiful Hotel"
Very good for all kinds of travel. Suggesting all to carry your sea or surf shoes for your kids to enjoy the beach. All rooms are amazing with great view. great food choices. Restaurant all have great selection of food.
"For 5 days we WERE the other half"
My wife and I do a bit of travel and have rarely experienced the 5 star luxury experience, often wondering how the other half enjoyed such pleasures. Well, that was until we spent 5 days at the Conrad Koh Samui. This was on a travel voucher so it was at a significant discount but it was at the top end of luxury (on our scale at least). The villas were magnificent - as big as a small house and of course our private pool and the view were amazing. The service was exceptional. The meals were incredible, especially a dinner at Jahn which was an experience in itself. The rooms were serviced daily and you can book what time you want this to happen. There is a turn down service again in the evening (done by a team of 3 staff). Ample bottled water is supplied twice a day and pool towels are also replaced twice a day. We had 2 visits to the spa which were first class experiences. I cannot fault this hotel. There is no need to go anywhere else once you get there. If this is how the other half holiday, we'll be saving up for another stay if the opportunity arises.
"Fantasti Infinity pool in every room"
Stayed here for a week straight after having spent time at The Intercontinental just down the road. While it wasn't quite at the same standard as the intercon...everything from friendliness from staff to food was just one notch down...every room having their own absolutely stunning infinity pool and generally being a less pricey resort made this a great place to relax. It is quite isolated but the resort offers a free daily transfer into Chaweng or Lamai. Highly recommend Lamai...Chaweng less so. If you are after complete chill time, you will be very happy.
"A little disappointing...."
We stayed as part of a belated honeymoon. We were however disappointed when there was no acknowledgement of this in our room as we had made the hotel aware of this in our booking. Rooms are starting to become run down and in need of maintenance. Our air-conditioner only pumped out hot air in the bathroom and the bar light was broken and wouldn't turn off when the door was closed. There was also a tear in our sun lounge and the mattress topper had to be changed after our first night as the bed felt as if it was on a tilt. The floor was also extremely scratched in our room. The service however was outstanding and the food fresh and delicious. Staff were of varying degrees of experience and training thus cannot be commented upon as some were outstanding and others were below expectation. This hotel was a little disappointing when comparing overall stay quality to the cost paid per night.
