"Not at Conrad Level"
Stayed many times here and have noticed gradual declines in Service and Quality of room. There are many choices in Miami and regrettablely this was my last stay. I would caution anyone under a time commit to the airport not to park at this facility. They consistently have problems with the automated parking.
"Hilton Honors Member not Honored"
As a public speaker, I am not always the person who makes my hotel arrangements. Upon arriving at the Conrad, which has a beautiful entrance area with a concierge staff to point you to the elevators to the 25th floor lobby, I expected a uneventful check-in. Much to my chagrin, as I told the front desk representative that I'd like to add my HH number to the reservation, I was perfunctorily told that because it was booked through a third party website, my HH wouldn't be recognized. The joy continued as I sat down for a lunch in the hotel restaurant. The waitress handed me a menu, and after returning to take my order, told me that the menu was being redone, and the items (all of them) were unavailable. To add icing to that cake, I had the same experience with the dessert menu. While the meal was delicious, the lack of menu items left a bad taste in my mouth. The room was poorly-lit for business travelers. Great for people who love mood lighting. Overall, a disappointing stay for a Hilton property. While the location is in the heart of Miami, that's what it's got going for it.
Been coming here for about 6 years and service was down for a while but I arrived today and the valet service was great. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Samuel. Thank you for the great service and hope this positivity remains
I can’t put my finger on the reason but this hotel does not really deserve the Conrad name. I got an upgrade on check in to a suite but the room really needed a make over. I had booked a one bedroom corner suite and would have preferred to keep that. Breakfast was slow on first day choosing al la carte and food poor. After that I went buffet and choice quite limited. No English muffins as an example. Had a business lunch there and food barely edible really for price paid. Asked for late check out to be given a flat no without even checking. Decided to persevere and try again later with someone else who was then very accommodating saying he appreciated my custom as a gold card holder. It’s a shame not all staff feel that way. The hotel has a nice bar setting and could be much better with a bit of effort.
"Wedding in Miami "
This was a Conrad first. We are gold members though from uk. Arrived no porter to help with luggage and strange set up with two lifts. Reception 25th floor then take another round corner. Bed really comfortable but don’t like toilet and shower together even though room huge, with dining room table and chairs and sofas in lounge etc.... Views wonderful over looking ocean. Breakfast very basic compared to other Hilton’s and first night dinner really slow but then a Knight in shining armour appears and sorted everything out Wilson Sanchez food and beverage supervisor is excellent. Next night Isabel is on duty and delivered excellent service with capability & a smile. Lady concierge from NewYork larger than life and super helpful. A few niggles but all in all a wonderful stay.
