"Great Service from the Front Desk"
Had a great stay however I mistakenly left my credit card in the hotels restaurant just before I left. When I got home I called the front desk and Simeon jumped right on it and made sure my card was secured and mailed it to me right away. Thanks Simeon and Crowne Plaza Chicago!
"Tired hotel. Don’t stay here."
This hotel is located in Greektown. It is a multistory slab, The rooms are small. The entire hotel is tired and desperately needs an update. Everything about this place needs updating; the carpets, the technology in the rooms, the staff training, the appointments in the rooms. I get the sense that whoever owns this place is cheap and would rather deal with periodic complaints than make the obvious improvements. The location is great. The hotel is not.

We have stayed at Crowne Plaza West Loop several times, and the customer service has always been terrific. It is such a pleasure to be treated like your happiness really matters! Today I spoke with "DePrea" to book an upcoming trip, she was so wonderful, went above and beyond to make me feel special. It is service like that which is why we will continue to come back. Many thanks for a great experience!
"Mac & Cheese Festival and Shopping "
Spent two nights at the Crown Plaza West Loop in Chicago. Got one room with two beds. My family of 4 stayed two nights and enjoyed our visit. The hotel was close enough to walk to most places but not too close to anything where we couldn't our sleep. We were approximately 1 mile from downtown parks and theater area and just under 1 to UIC forum for the Mac & Cheese Festival. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Only draw back was they were working on the parking deck attached to the hotel which made getting in and out just a bit difficult but everybody was good about it. Valet parking was easy. Used Lyft for rides when it was raining and they had no problem getting in and out for the main entrance. Overall great trip!
I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop for a conference and was pleased with the lobby and my room. The lobby was modern and had comfortable chairs to sit in between meetings. My room was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was on the smaller side and basic, but was fine. The staff was very friendly. The meeting space was adequate and the buffet style food was good. The only issue I had was with the WI-Fi. I was unable to receive emails when connected so I had to turn the WI-Fi off.
