"Great people, great hotel ( in that order)"
It was very difficult to find the entrance of the hotel; there is not signs in the area except the sign in the top of the building which is in a shopping mall complex I arrived 2 am and i have no idea that i should use the shopping entrance to get in to the hotel. i spend more than an hour trying to understand how to get there, until I was guided by a police officer, I was tired after a long flight and very upset The people in the reception was very nice , but maybe because my bad mood, they did not welcome me as platinum member and not offer me point or an upgrade. Next morning I mentioned all this to the hotel manager, he kindly heard my story, understood my frustration ,express his apology and give my doble points , and extend even more his kindness removing from our bill the breakfast. I would like to thank the people from the front desk and manager Yosef, for your understanding and kindness. Let us suggest to add in your web site a note to indicate how to get to the hotel ( specially after hours) Now that I already know how..., I will came back , because this great people made this Crowne Plaza, a great hotel. Thanks !
"Crowne Plaza Hotel, Tel Aviv"
I selected Crowne Plaza Hotel, Tel Aviv for a short of two nights stay after I traveled from Jordan, Palestine territory and Jerusalem. Eventually I found I made a right decision and absolutely worth it although the hotel is in an up-market price. However, the hotel is located in the heart of Tel Aviv, where is closed to the following places/sites; 1. It only takes 3-4 minutes walking from the Hashalom train station if you come from Jerusalem by the Israel Railway. This means no additional cost for the taxi. Furthermore, if your flight departure is at Ben Gurion airport, the train from Hashalom only takes 10 minutes to the Tel Aviv international airport. 2. The Tel Aviv largest shopping mall in Azrieli Center is just the next door of Crowne Plaza hotel, where a supermarket (opens till 10:00pm, opposite of the Crowne Plaza hote entrance gate). 3. It also can walk to the unique shopping heaven Sarona Market by approximately 10 minutes, where are many world brand fashion shops, and variety food shops, bars and restaurants. 4. The walking distance from Crowne Plaza to the Tel Aviv Mediterranean Sea beach (e.g. Frishman Beach or Jerusalem Beach) is about 35-45 minutes depending on your walking speed. 5. The ancient Jaffa port (over 7,000 years) is in the south west of the Crowne Plaza hotel, which is approximately 5 kilometers. It took me 50 minutes walking in one way. Overall, Crowne Plaza hotel has a location advantage. Also, of course the hotel room and services are all first class.
"I wasn't fully happy"
Look it's 5 stars hotel with 250 euro per night price. So everythimg clean , the location is good, the bed is big (we asked for one double and got to single pushed together) and so on and so on... But I won't return. The staff just made me fill unwelcome. Maybe it's how i been dressed or looked or whatever the stuff just weren't nice. There alot of great hotels in Tel aviv, many of them 5 stars and same price. Good hotel but next time i will order a room somewhere else
This hotel checked all the boxes - clean, large room, large bathroom with separate tub and shower, great service, panoramic views and an outstanding breakfast buffet. It is a perfect business oriented hotel. It's modern design was functional but lacked the charm of a more traditional hotel. A fine place to stay with no real negatives.
