Preis Leistung top!!!Comment of B. Linda , Germany the 2016-02-17
"Excellent location "
Great location with all sites in walking distance. Shopping mall directly opposite the hotel with a Tesco! Room was clean with ample storage, good WiFi , fridge and mini bar and good selection of complimentary toiletries with added bonus of hairdryer in bathroom! Breakfast had something for everyone but can be very busy with not enough tables for everyone! Staff were very friendly and helpful and airport transfer was arranged for a great price! Overall a fabulous weekend!
We stayed for 3 nights, smooth check in. We had a lovely room on the 8th floor. Bath, shower towels and amenities included. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and all fresh with friendly staff. The location is superb, in walking distance of anything you could need in Prague centre. Will stay here again if we return!
we have just returned from prague and this wonderful hotel, very close to the metro and tram stops and within walking distance to all the sights, spotless clean, beautiful breakfast with plenty of variety, very helpful and pleasant staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
"Budget hotel without the budget price tag"
If you want to be kept awake all night by street noise, trams, loud groups and traffic then this is the hotel for you! The glass doesn't block out any noise so I spent 3 nights with next to no sleep. Upon arrival the staff were not particularly welcoming. We are well travelled and have always been given some local info or often a map when checking in, but the staff gave no information. Also be warned they will charge to look after the luggage at check out. We were highly disappointed by the view from our room, they advertise a nice city view of the castle but the reality for us was a view of ... a department store. Great. When speaking to reception and asking to change rooms we were swiftly told where to go. The decor in the hotel is tacky, bright red carpets (our room carpet was covered in stains), and a double room is two single beds with single duvet covers, pushed together. Not ideal for couples. Breakfast was awful, except the croissants. There was a station saying omelettes but no staff there to prepare them. Some old dried out fruit and stale cereal. And not enough tables to seat all guests so we were left awkwardly waiting, ignored by staff, while other guests finished eating. Any positives' The location of the hotel is fairly central and has good transport links. But it's not worth the lack of sleep and customer service. I would not recommend staying here.
"Great location, good price"
Like many hotels with the word "design" in their name, the quality of the actual design is debatable at best. But this hotel has a great location at relatively moderate price. Located in the dead center of town, much of Prague is in walking distnace. The thick carpets in the rooms may not be to everybody's liking, but rooms are clean and have lots of light. While the rooms aren't particularly big, the beds are good and internet is quick. The hotel's staff is friendly and efficient. If you don't mind the beige shag carpeting on the walls, then breakfast is quite good as well.
