Family/friends vacation in London, and we are enjoying this hotel. Beautiful space, attentive service (twice daily room cleaning) and small (but noticed) touches make for a relaxing stay. Fair pricing with amenities matching far pricier hotels.
"Perfect Boutique Hotel"
My first trip to England and my husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful and perfect hotel and all the wonderful staff here who bend over backwards to accommodate your every wish. Perfect location in a great neighborhood, close to all public transit options, close to Regent's Park, friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff, spotlessly clean, quiet, beautiful and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast. I personally prefer a little more space so I always book a larger room whenever I stay in main cities in Europe since standard rooms are typically on the small side.Just saying. We stayed on the 3rd floor for our first 4 nights and on the 1st floor for our 5th night. Both rooms were quiet, no street noise and equally spacious and comfortable. I don't think you can go wrong with any room choice at the Dorset Square Hotel.I will go back to London soon and I would not stay anywhere else.
"Charming boutique hotel"
Fabulous staff, beautifully decorated rooms and public areas; this hotel is a little gem. A la carte breakfast was delicious (smoked salmon, eggs, tomato and toast!). Having a night cap in the drawing room with an honesty bar was a typical highlight along with the friendly and helpful reception staff. Can't wait to go back and stay again!
Stayed here as part of our 20th wedding anniversary. A stunning hotel. The staff were amazing. The guys on the front desk were so helpful, the concierge was super friendly and the restaurant staff were totally on the ball as well as being knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. The room was really well decorated and the bed was great. The record player and vinyl was a nice touch. Would 100% recommend and will be back.
"A gem of a hotel!"
I just stayed four nights in the smallest hotel room I expect I will ever stay in and I can't believe I am as satisfied with the hotel as I am. The Dorset Square hotel is a little boutique hotel on the corner of Dorset Square. It's a real surprise. It did not look much from the outside but once inside, it's very clear this is a hotel that takes pride in itself. Its was a bit of an effort to get to my room lugging my suitcase up the stairs (no lift!) and it was a bit of a surprise (ok, shock!) when I opened the door and saw how small the room was. The room, while tiny, was perfectly functional and really well thought out. Bathroom is also tiny but well designed. Overall, the room was really immaculately maintained. I do need to acknowledge I did book the smallest size rooms in the hotel. There are these wonderful little touches at the Dorset Square. There was a hand-written note from the GM welcoming me with a lovely little box of chocolates. Two night later, there was a box of marshmallows with a note asking if I was enjoying my stay. Everything works perfectly in the room from the air-conditioning to the towel rack warmer. If you travel enough, you know never to take this from granted even in very high end hotels. I enjoyed my stay very much and so much so that I suspect I won't need to think of where I will stay on my next visit to London. I've been traveling to London for 15 years on business and I have continued to change hotels continually as I can't find one I like enough to make it my go to hotel. No longer! So what did I like so much about the hotel' It is a sweet little hotel but at the end of the day, its about the staff. Every staff member made me feel welcome and made me feel like a valued customer. The hotel is very well positioned to Baker Street tube station which makes just about any part of London easily accessible. I could not recommend this hotel more.
