"another great stay"
Travel to Bogota 3 times per year. Have been staying at this Doubletree past year and one half. Always an enjoyable stay. Friendly well trained staff. Highly recommend this hotel if you are travelling to Bogota, Bellmen, front desk to breakfast staff all are great. Spacious rooms good service
"Doubletree delivers again "
Pleasantly surprised with DT Calle 100. Excellent staff and great service. A really good business stay with clean and modern rooms. I am a diamond member and was upgraded to a nice spacious room on the 8th floor. Comfortable and clean. The misses - interior decoration in lobby was not my fav but it's not a big enough miss to deduct points. Another miss which is out of the control of the hotel is early morning traffic noise. Other than those two misses. The place is a hit especially for business travelers. I would not hesitate to return.
The climate control in the room does not have an a/c funcion (fan-only). Not recommended unless you are ok with this. The staff is ok, the rooms are clean, but the recommendation to cool the room down is to "open the windows"
Every employee from this hotel is amazing they give 100% all the time! The location is great very centric transportation it is easy, the Neiborhood is pretty secure we enjoy our stay very much. Hope to go back soon
"Excellent hotel, but the lack of staff that speak English is disconcerting"
This is a very nice hotel. The spa suite room I had was very reasonable priced at $139 a night. The only concerns were almost none of the staff spoke any English. Not even a few words. And I'm not talking about housekeeping staff or security, but the essential staff at reception and room service. It was close to impossible to communicate my needs to the staff, and if it wasn't for my Colombian fiancée, I wouldn't have been able to order room service or even have even my most basic needs like towels or extra pillows fulfilled. I should mention that the staff here was extremely warm and friendly and always greeted me with a smile and responded to my concerns immediately when my wife a fluent Spanish speaker communicated with them. Otherwise communication was close to impossible. I tried to order room service when my wife was in the shower and 4 different staff got on the phone and not even after 15 minutes was I able to order anything. Finally my wife emerged from the shower and ordered room service. Other than that, the mini bar is very poorly stocked, with only a couple chocolates, a small pringles can, and a couple waters, soft drinks and beers. No wines, no liquors. And once we consumed the items from the minibar no one came by to refill them. Even though we asked multiple times during our 5 day stay. Also the television programming is all in Spanish, they don't have a single channel with English language programming except CNN. And I don't think anyone wants to watch CNN all day and night for entertainment. They also don't have any ability to order movies like at other Hilton properties. Also the parking is a bit creepy too, you have to park in this abandoned parking garage way far in the back of the hotel and it's very poorly lit and dark, like in a horror movie. Walking through that parking garage at night was quite scary for my fiancée. The breakfast is good, but the food is cold and it doesn't really get replaced once other guests eat it. On all 5 days we were there the pancakes were cold, and the milk was warm from staying out, and the cheese and other items were melted and stale. And this was at 6-7am!! Other than that the spa in our room was very convenient and our room was always cleaned promptly upon request. The bed and pillows were very cozy, as was the bathrobe and slippers. The amenities of shaving kit and shampoos were more than adequate, as was the timeliness of the staff in bringing them.
