The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London - Marble Arch is situated on the northern side of Oxford Street next to Marble Arch and across the road from Hyde Park. Accessible via M40 and M4, 20 miles from Heathrow Airport and short walk from Marble Arch underground. The most central of locations yet in a quiet side street with an APCOA car park immediately opposite. We are only 40 minutes away from Excel, Convention & Exhibition Centre in London.

It was interesting reading other reviews as I personally found that it was the staff that was the saving grace of this hotel. They were text book good. Very polite and recognising HH Gold. The room I stayed in (G8) was very large. Badly cleaned, you wouldn't want to eat in there, and noisy. Light streaming in unless you used the blackout curtains. Breakfast was 'OK'. Brilliantly service. Faultless. But orange squash kind of says it all. Location is excellent. My surprised is why people don't use Airbnb or other alternatives until Hilton makes staying at its hotels either more affordable or more desirable'
Besides Francisca at the front desk, everything at this hotel is sub-par. Everyone is rude, the front desk manager is terrible. Its almost like they are doing you a favour by staying there, and we are Hilton Diamond members. There are many other hotels in London... the location is good but not worth it.
"Not bad, Priced right, Decent location"
I work by Green Park, and would have rather stayed further west closer to where friends are, but this wasn't bad. Very cozy bed. Tube at Marble Arch handy and centrally located, and of course the casino and late night pub nearby so can't complain. I wouldn't stay here with the family, bit congested. Staff ok, didn't see them much. It's a 3 star spot and not a bad one, and for central London the price was like 180 quid/240 bucks a night which is cheap and I've been round London enough to know it was a fair deal. Pub other side of Portman St. (Portman Mews) was pleasantly heaving after work and would have stayed if I knew people there/wasn't leaving to meet friends. I liked this place well enough, but would easily stay elsewhere as well. You won't go wrong if you book it.
"Great location but needs some work..."
Just a block away from Oxford Street shopping, so location is great if that is your thing. The air conditioning wasn't working in my room and someone was aware of this as there was an electric heater in the room - but no-one told me and it seems that the front desk staff weren't aware of issues with the aircon, so some communication issues here. The bathroom had a faint smell of damp/mould. Also, there is major building work taking place in the property next door and as I had selected a front street facing room, there was a fair amount of noise coming into the room. I am guessing there are better options in the area for a similar price
"Convenient location, great value "
Great location, easy to pick up a cab, get on the tube or bus. Lots of different restaurants, cafes and shopping. We didn’t eat at the hotel, and instead went to some of the coffee shops near by in the morning before heading out to explore. Loved that it was so close to Hyde Park and we felt pretty safe in the area. Did not have any issues with the construction since we where out and about all day. Hotel was simple but pretty clean. Overall great value for a central location. Good for friends traveling together since we had two rooms each with twin beds and they had the rooms close together.
