Founded in 1890, the beautiful 4 star Eden Wolff Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Munich. This plush accommodation features 214 rooms and suites which are elegantly designed, with a hint of classic Bavaria.
Munich has something for everybody. For those who enjoy the theatre and the opera, Munich is a renowned destination for culture and arts. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, boutique shops, and sports destinations too.
The Eden Wolff Hotel enjoys an ideal location within Munich, opposite the central station, which means exploring the city couldn’t be easier. The Karlplatz and Stachus are within walking distance from the hotel, and from there you have access to the most important sights of historical Munich.
Great hotel and location. No noise could be heard from train station.Comment of G. Michael G, Germany the 2016-04-04
"Near perfect business hotel"
The Eden Wolff was SO good with the basics that it rates excellent. Location, front desk service, towels, mattresses really made my short stay excellent. They are directly next to train station so in and out easy. Very friendly and helpful check in and concierge. Slept like a baby. Room was small but last minute and all I needed.
"A great Munich base"
Normally, I don’t like staying close to the main train station, but I’m glad I broke that rule here. This hotel is about a 3 stone’s throws from Marienplatz and is also close to some of the other beer halls such as Augustiner Keller so one could argue this is a more central area. The hotel is clean and safe and maybe it was the jet lag, but I had some of the best sleep on this bed which is a nice Swedish mattress with a pad on tap. Nice goose down comforter as well. The only complaints are that the doors are thin and so are the walls. However, bc it was off season, it sounded like I had the floor to myself at least on one night. Bottom line. Solid value and I would stay here again.
"Perfect location, excellent servixe"
I’ve stayed in hotels all over Europe and this really was PERFECT—all the way around. Booked a last-minute weekend away from work in Mannheim, took the train, arrived late and was taking the hop on hop off bus the next morning. Here’s how my first day went down... 1) the hotel is a stone’s throw from the train station, 2) it is BEAUTIFUL, 3) they knew my name before I could give it to them (they were clearly expecting me), 4) they printed, re-printed and printed again my bus vouchers, 5) gave me an overview of the area and directions to the bus (which also begins a block away), the rates are very reasonable, 7) the room was small (I did book a single) but was PERFECT—clean, with a bigger tv than the huge room I had at my hotel in Mannheim and all of the amenities—including a bathroom I don’t know how they got all of stuff in the condensed space! And , last, but not least, 8) ALL of the staff were very kind and accommodating (I don’t mean to be, but I think I’m kinda high maintenance). I have another day but I will DEFINITELY COME BACK—there would be no reason to stay anywhere else.
"Excellent hotel with great location"
I stayed here in September 2017 with my father and it was our favorite hotel of our trip! The location really can't be beat - across the street from the train station and 10-15 minute walking to all major attractions. We were able to walk almost everywhere. We had a junior suite (separate bedroom and living room area with pull-out couch) which was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. The restaurant in the hotel is very good too - we had a few meals there and breakfast every morning. Staff were always helpful in giving us directions and helping us get a cab to the airport. Overall would highly recommend and I plan on staying here next time I'm in Munich!
"Fancy and Functional"
We had a perfectly pleasant stay at the Eden Hotel Wolff, however it was my least favorite hotel of our trip through southern Germany and Austria, primarily because we got the least bang for our buck. The hotel is lovely and well maintained, but our room was quite small (typical for a large city, I suppose). The hotel is not cheap, and yet breakfast was not included (almost all of our other hotels included complimentary breakfast). The staff was friendly and helpful, but something about the lobby atmosphere made me feel like I didn't really belong there. Very formal. I would not necessarily stay here again for these reasons, however, the location was excellent for our needs. The hotel is located directly across the street from the train station, so extremely convenient for that reason. There were also a variety of coffee shops and inexpensive eating options nearby. It was also in close proximity to the museum quarter -- including the Glyptothek, the State Collection of Antiquities, and the Alte and Neue Pinakothek -- and about a 15 minute walk to the main plaza and Christmas Markets. Very nice, but not especially unique.
