Founded in 1890, the beautiful 4 star Eden Wolff Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Munich. This plush accommodation features 214 rooms and suites which are elegantly designed, with a hint of classic Bavaria.
Munich has something for everybody. For those who enjoy the theatre and the opera, Munich is a renowned destination for culture and arts. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, boutique shops, and sports destinations too.
The Eden Wolff Hotel enjoys an ideal location within Munich, opposite the central station, which means exploring the city couldn’t be easier. The Karlplatz and Stachus are within walking distance from the hotel, and from there you have access to the most important sights of historical Munich.
Great hotel and location. No noise could be heard from train station.Comment of G. Michael G, Germany the 2016-04-04
"Great location if you travel by train, it is right across from the station"
Lovely comfortable rooms with everything needed for a nice rest. Given the location there was no view to speak of but we didn't expect that. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the restaurant, if you stay here make sure you have a least one evening meal in the restaurant, the food is awesome and the customer service is brilliant. The staff at the reception desk were also helpful and spoke English.
"Micro-sized room, Great Breakfast"
Overall, I found this hotel expensive for the tiny room we got with zero view (courtyard with view of other rooms across and a roof with HVAC units below). But it was comfortable, if tight, and their breakfast made up for everything. Some parts of the hotel are dated and sort of '70s, like the front desk and the hallways. But the rooms have been updated with pretty cool, sort of Neo-Alpine decor. I appreciated that, even though there was hardly room to move. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The restaurant is warm and inviting with a cheery alpine feel. With lots of knotty pine, crystal chandeliers and European art, it was an entirely happy place. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was very prompt, especially with the coffee, which I appreciate. The front desk staff was helpful and gave great instructions on places to go and how to get there. As for location, it is right across from the train station, but we didn't care about that since we drove. So we found it to be pretty far from where we wanted to be (Marienplatz and other sights). We subway-ed to everything as a result. Would have preferred walking distance, but the subway was an easy-to-learn alternative. And the neighborhood is as un-scenic as it gets. Don't come here for the view.... Sleep, eat, then head out to see the sights.
"Good location in Munich"
We arrived in Munich by train and walked across the street to the hotel. Our room on the 6th floor facing the Munich train station was pleasant and quiet. We could walk to the art museums, restaurants, shopping, and to the Marienplatz. After a day of sightseeing we enjoyed some beer or wine in the hotel bar. A fine breakfast was included with the room, and we also ate in the hotel restaurant one evening. We could also have used the nearby "HopOn/HopOff" bus, but preferred to walk. We enjoyed our stay here very much. When it was time to head to the airport, we used the Lufthansa shuttle bus which runs every 15 minutes from the Munich train station.
"Well located and good value for money!"
Stayed here for one night but if i'm back in Munich for either business or pleasure again, i'll be back. Located across the street from the Munich Hbf train station it is very well located for anyone like me who got the train into Munich. Staff on the desk at check in were very nice and chatty. Got given a room on the 5th floor so no noise from the trams and street below and surprised that it was a suite. Very clean and well laid out and a great nights sleep! Breakfast the next morning was very nice but a little over priced at €21 per person. Happy to store luggage while i was out of business and staff equally as nice checking out.
"Worst Hotel Policy."
I booked my reservation using the wrong dates by mistake- mistakes happen. I had asked to change my reservation dates just five minutes after booking on Expedia. Expedia did not get a response from the hotel after 6 days about whether I could change my reservation without being charged 90% of the total charge (as per hotel policy). I then had to call back and got a no as an answer. Keeping in mind that what I wanted was available for the dates I selected, the fact that I called same day to see what could be done this hotel is atrocious. I will be charged 90% of the cost but I will not be rebooking here. It’s a rip off and terrible business ethics.
