Founded in 1890, the beautiful 4 star Eden Wolff Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Munich. This plush accommodation features 214 rooms and suites which are elegantly designed, with a hint of classic Bavaria.
Munich has something for everybody. For those who enjoy the theatre and the opera, Munich is a renowned destination for culture and arts. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, boutique shops, and sports destinations too.
The Eden Wolff Hotel enjoys an ideal location within Munich, opposite the central station, which means exploring the city couldn’t be easier. The Karlplatz and Stachus are within walking distance from the hotel, and from there you have access to the most important sights of historical Munich.
Great hotel and location. No noise could be heard from train station.Comment of G. Michael G, Germany the 2016-04-04
"A decent stay in a great location"
The best thing about this hotel is the location. Across the road from the train station, 10mins walk into the main shopping street and 15mins walk to Oktoberfest. The rooms are large and clean, the bathroom was also decent size, although our shower wasn't the best. We ordered room service once and the food was great. Overall a pretty good hotel.
"Great hotel in all aspects "
Everything about the hotel is great.. the check in took literally less than a minute, the room was very clean and well maintained.. the location of the hotel was very convenient for both arriving at main train station and for sightseeing around the city. The staff is very practical and efficient.. the breakfast is very good.
"Great location, good room"
The location of the hotel can't be beat. It's directly across from the main train station, and a bus stop and street car stop are right outside. It's not far from Oktoberfest activities, and there are numerous bars/restaurants within walking distance. It's also very close to where you meet busses for group tours. We went on a group tour to Neuschwanstein Castle, and the pick up/drop off location is literally right around the corner (less than 5 minute walk). The staff was helpful and friendly each time I interacted with them. I traveled with my mother, and they must have initially assumed that the two people staying in the room were a couple, since they had us in a room with one bed. Upon check in, we said we would prefer two separate beds, and they had no problem with accomodating our request. The room itself was a very good size for two people. The shower in the bathroom was a bit awkward. The shower head is positioned in such a way that you're either constantly stepping on the drain, and thereby shutting it, or you end up getting water all over the floor. Really a minor complaint though and certainly not enough to discourage me from staying here again or recommending it to others. The hotel restaurant is very good. There is a variety of classic German dinner choices, and the setting makes you feel like you're in an old farm house. There is a hot breakfast, which was also good. We ate early both mornings we were there and had no problem getting a table, but given the size of the hotel, it may get a little more crowded later in the morning. That being said, you're there to sightsee and not to sleep in, so you should be getting an early start anyway! Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.
You really could not ask for a better location when visiting Munich. Directly across from the main train station, 5 minutes walk to the old city center, close to the Oktoberfest grounds, and right on the hop on/hop off bus route. The room was clean and fairly large by European standards. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had a wide selection of hot and cold options although the coffee was less than outstanding. Overall I would certainly stay here again.
"Good choice for a night or two"
The hotel is very centrally located. If you arrive by plane , jump into the S8 train to Munich Hauptbahnhof. It will take tou fourty minutes. Then walk three minutes to your hotel, which has been fully refurbished. Fast and kind reception desk. Room is clean, however very small. I had booked single occupancy and the room had 17sqm / 178sqft. No view from the room. Breakfast was really good and cozy. Friendly personnel. If you are not looking for a luxury, but good and clean, centrally located hotel, then this is it.
