Very central Hotel, excellent value and easy access to anywhere.Comment of P. Raymond , United Kingdom the 2016-12-27
The hotel was very centrally located, walking distance to the train station, the beach, the castle and the nightlife. The buffet breakfast was substantial. Offering hot and cold options, pastries, fruit and desserts. The room was comfortable and clean.
"Nice hotel in a good location"
Stayed there 6 nights on a business trip with a group of 20+ people. This hotel is located in the downtown, with the market hall (Mercado) and the airport bus stop on the opposite side of the street. Tram station is just a couple of minutes walk from there, and you can get in 5 to 10 minutes to the castle or the promenade/beach as well. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable double bed and a large bathroom with tub. The buffet breakfast is really good, although there were times when staff was running late on providing clean tables and coffee mugs for the newcomers. The other bottleneck were the elevators in the morning, when a lot of people were leaving at the same time. Overall it was still a great experience to stay there.
"Highly Recommended "
We have just returned from our first visit to Alicante and stayed in the Eurostars Lucentum. This is a great city hotel which is in a central location to explore - 5 minutes walk to the tram station and a 10 minutes walk to the sea front/harbour. It is by many bars restaurants and cafes. The hotel is modern clean and comfortable. Reception staff are friendly and professional. The hotel offers breakfast and has a good variety.
"Nice hotel "
Clean hotel with spacious rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is really good and surprisingly well equipped and the hotel is centrally located but still quiet enough in spite of surrounding traffic. Drawbacks in the off season when we visited was that the hotel bar was closed(!) so you could not buy a glass of wine at the hotel...The reception area was not very inviting but that is but a minor detail.
"Perfect for a short business stay"
The Eurostarts Lucentum is very well located in the center of downtown Alicante and very well priced. You won't get any beautiful views of the sea that the hotels on the shore can provide, but you pay 40% less. the rooms are clean and very quiet for its location which is next to a very lively downtown area with fantastic night life. The bathroom in my room was larger than I expected it would be and so was the bed. the hotel staff were very professional and courteous.
