"My stay in Eurostar suits"
I stayed in this hotel from 7 th to 12 th September. The front desk is prompt and efficient; answers and guides well , all of them speak English . Hotel rooms are spacious well furnished with all modern facilities of a 5 star . The carpet is little old ; one can see the 'oldness ' of the bathroom fittings and furniture. Breakfast is continental and a good spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian and Spanish. Check out was also prompt . As a whole very good
"loved it except the pool"

"A shadow of its former self!"
I have stayed at this hotel over 15 times over the years. The original MIrasierra Suites was an outstanding hotel with great rooms and great service. When Sheraton took over the hotel started a downward spiral. Now that Eurostars has taken over, the hotel is not being maintained properly. To say this hotel is a 5 star hotel is an outright lie. During my last stay I had to ask the front desk staff to show me serval rooms as the first room I was given had a horrible smell of cigarettes. Each subsequent room I was shown had a very weird musty smell that I believe are the old carpets in the room. I have attached 4 pictures that are of my 5 star hotel room: 1) The blinds all have frayed edges 2) The blinds are full of paint drippings 3) There was a huge stain in the carpet 4) The bathroom mirror was cracked. The door to the jacuzzi was off of its hinges and just leaning on the opening. The shower was clogged and did not drain. by the time I realized it, water was spilling over the edge and going all over the bathroom floor. The only good thing i can say is that the room service food was very good. This will be my last stay at this hotel until it is remodeled.
"Definitely a 4* hotel "
My partner and I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The facilities within the room were fantastic! Very spacious and well equipped. The bathroom had double sinks, a deep bath and a shower. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was a little dated, and didn't really have the 5* feeling that other hotels we've stayed in had. The metro was a short walk away, and it was probably a 15 min ride in to the centre of Madrid. I would say this hotel is a good 4*.
"Definitely not a 5 stars - go somewhere else"
I found this hotel very old. Room are super big for sure but old fashion with carpet which is not hygienic. Then it didn't smell to good. A nightmare to turn of the lights as there are so many buttons in all this big room. Poorly soundproofed. And the breakfast! Really a so poor choice for a 25€!!!! in a sad place. This is just robbery. Didn't try the spa (I was there for work) One good point : the taxi station near by. Well first and last place for me, that's for sure!!!!
