"More 3 than 5 stars hotel"
I usually stay in 5 stars hotels. I have to say that although the staff do the maximum they can, the structure is more related to a 3 stars hotel. Swimming between huge residential building is not ideal. Rooms are very good but there are no facilities a part from the Spa. 150 rooms and only 15 sunbeds for a whole pool is really poor.
This is a lovely hotel, slightly out of central Madrid, but close to a large mall and great local restaurants, with bus and metro links to the city centre. The facilities are good, decent sized rooms and a deep outdoor pool. Can't comment on the indoor heated pool n spa as users must be over 16 and our kids are younger. Would definitely visit again.
"Fantastic Hotel and staff"
Myself and my daughter stayed here for 6 nights in July. On arrival we were given a suite straight away eventhough it was only 10.am which we really appreciated. Our suite was huge and had a mini kitchen and a fridge which was super as we could stock up on water and other soft drinks during our stay. The reception staff were always so helpful and friendly. Next to reception they have a table with fresh water and fruit for guest to help themselves which was a lovely welcome coming in from the very hot sun every day. Just a few minutes walk from the hotel there is a great supermarket and the bus stop for the 133 to Madrid centre is just across the road. The room/suite had everything needed for our stay and it would be hard to fault them. The cleaning staff here also work very hard and were very helpful. We used a taxi to get from airport to hotel and paid €30 but the Metro is about 10 minutes walk if anyone preferred to use it to get to airport (not direct, must change lines). We did not try the indoor pool as the weather was so fantastic we preferred to use the lovely outdoor pool each day. It was never very busy and we always got beds next to pool area. There was a lifeguard on duty all the time we were there. The pool bar was lovely but a bit expensive as is most pool bars. We ordered two cocktails but they were not available so we had two vodka and orange at the bar outside the lobby area and they came to €31 for the two drinks. I suppose this is to be expected in a 5 star hotel. Just a 10 minute walk from the hotel is a huge shopping centre which was a big plus for staying outside of Madrid in this area. Nearly all the shops had sales on while we were there so my daughter was thrilled we were so close as we walked over a few time. We also had some lovely lunches in the centre as they have a food court on the top floor. We were really sad to leave this lovely hotel. It was the perfect place for a relaxing few days and also very handy to travel into Madrid too. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a spacious room, a lovely pool and very helpful and friendly staff in a nice quiet area. Can’t wait to return.
Great hotel, I was in big suite which is great. Big bad, kitchen, big bathroom. Swimming pool is wonderful and service very polite. Great coffee and cocktail´s in bar. Only bad thing that is far away from center but if you have car you are there in no time.
"Spacious rooms, kind staff, nice swimming pools&gym"
We stayed at Eurostars Suites Mirasierra for a full week and really enjoyed our stay there. Hotel's staff made a great impression on us when we arrived - we were given the room even though we showed up at 9AM, about 6 hours before scheduled check-in time so that was a big plus at the very beginning of our trip. During our stay at Eurostars Suites Mirasierra we didn't have too many reasons to complain - the hotel itself was clean and enjoyable. Suites are huge and very comfortable compared to hotels in other parts of the Europe. It is worth mentioning that hotel is located in the quiet and residential area quite far from the city center, but with great public transportation system in Madrid it's not a problem. You can get to the Downtown in about 35 minutes by bus (line 133 that has it's stop right in front of the hotel) or by metro (lines 9 and 1). Drive from the MAD airport takes about 15min by taxi (you can get there by the metro as well) We didn't have a chance to try restaurant located in the hotel but it's there and from what I remember it's open till 1AM. There are also outdoor and indoor swimming pools (indoor one is heated but it requires additional charge) and 2 fitness centers (bigger one and smaller one that is open 24h a day). I had a chance to use both of the fitness centers and I must say that I was really surprised by the size of the one located on -1 level. It's very well-equiped with almost all brand-new machines. As I mentioned above, the room was clean and very spacious. Beds were comfortable. There are slippers, bathrobes and fancy toiletries that come with every room. The cleaning ladies were doing an excellent job and were very nice to us, like the rest of the staff. Special thanks to the young guy at the reception (I think his name was Joaquin, correct me if I'm wrong) who made the check-out process nice and smooth. Only drawback that I can really think of is that the managing directors should pay more attention to areas that require maintenance. They should spend more money on renovating areas like swimming pool (floor, lights, sunbeds) and fitness room (the smaller one). Also, in my opinion, walls in some of the rooms should be re-painted. Besides that, we really enjoyed staying at Eurostars Suites Mirasierra.
