"Great accommodation in a Great Location"
This a well positioned quality hotel. Within comfortable walking distance from the attractions of the old town. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable size and decor of the room. It would have been nice if the TV was a little bigger....but I guess the point is for guests to be out enjoying the city ... Breakfast pretty much covers most basis and is perfectly adequate. For the above reasons I will certainly return to this hotel in future, when I plan to bring my family with me to experience this amazing city. I must however say that the service in the lounge area is pretty much non-existent during the day ....but in the late afternoon and evening the small bar opens up, serving drinks to guests in the lounge. This is an area where the hotel could focus on and improve on.
What a brilliant luxurious hotel for a business trip. It was beautifully decorated and the service was really good. The bed, bathroom and facilities were really nice. Breakfast was good, with a lot of choices. Even for the gluten free eater there were choices, though they didn’t have any allergy information up. The only comment I have is for them to improve on maintenance. If you look closely you see that it is lacking in the rooms. Small damages and unfinished things were visible
"First time in Prague"
The hotel was excellent- located on 10-15 mins away from the Old Town and a short walk to Charles Bridge. Easy to get to from the nearby metro station. Room was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. Wide choice from the buffet breakfast menu, but didn't experience the other meals available in the hotel as a wide choice of restuarants nearby. Only small negative on a personal basis was that the snack bar area wasn't covered in the later evening which would have been nice for a drink on returning from an evening out. If I come back to Prague, I'll certainly look to use the hotel again as a base.
"Pleasant but not worthy of five stars"
A perfectly adequate hotel, but nothing special. We made an extremely last minute booking, check in still went smoothly thankfully. The room was pleasant, however not the cleanest. The floor was dirty so much so that we avoided walking around barefoot. As mentioned by another reviewer, our room was fairly dusty. The teaspoons provided were also dirty. The bed was huge but seemed to be two singles pushed together and we would’ve preferred a double bed. There was no full length mirror which proved annoying. The staff at reception where knowledgable and helpful. Plus the hotel umbrellas proved very useful in the autumn weather, a nice touch. The hotel offers to hold your luggage in a safe space after check out which we made use of as we had an evening flight home. It’s a nice hotel, but I wouldn’t say it’s worthy of five stars. There wasn’t the service nor facilities that I thought a five star hotel should possess, especially considering the prices. TIP: There’s a wonderful cocktail bar around the back of the hotel called Bonvivants, definitely recommend!
"Waste of Money"
I have stayed there 3 nights -last day I booked another hotel- My room was really dusty and cleaning was not done properly. I didn't have a Wifi in my room and 2nd night the water from the tap was muddy. I talked to the reception and no reaction at all. Both at the entrance and leaving, the attitude of the staff were not nice and not welcoming. I spent 175 euro per night and it was a waste of money. I will never stay in this hotel and never recommend anyone to stay here.
