"Not a 5 star hotel"
Hotel is in good location for public transport and walking distance to the tourist attractions. The Hotel staff were helpful and check in was easy. The room (423) look tired and in need of refurbishment bed was uncomfortable and pillows were cheap and nasty. Air conditioning kept the room at a steady 25.6 degrees Centigrade asked reception to repair it but nothing happened. Breakfast had a good selection of food but seemed to be luke warm no matter what time you went Public areas were well kept No help with luggage to room Would not rate this hotel higher than 3 star
"3.5 raw welcome water & electricity headache "
Comparing with other European hotels I can grant to the hotel maximum 3.5 stars. Not so bed breakfast, but hotels facilities needs to be more comfortable (at least to add slippers and robe to the room). Also I would like to state that electricity was switched off fully in our room twice and repairing was occupied more then two hours every time. Also for me was very strange that to refresh water on reception water went to WC and bring raw water. To use it service or not up to you. But to pay more than 130 $ for night with the issue not worth it.
"Not a 5 star hotel"
The service is awful. The receptionists are not helpful, they are not well informed on what to visit or what to eat around in Prague. During our stay, we got to know better about Prague than they ever did. The bed sheets are not that clean. We tried to book a taxi from our room in order to get to the railway station and they didn't even answer or bother to call back after trying to reach them for like 3 to 4 phone calls. The room is a bit dusty. Not a very pleasant stay and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
This was an amazing weekend. Wonderful hotel.Hotel is on city center and too close to all historical places. Hotel is really clean and seems well. All staff are very kind, helpful and always smile.Breakfast was amazing.
"Not a 5 star hotel."
This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The front of the hotel is located on a nice enough street and 20 mins walk from Old Town. There is a store nearby to buy water which you'll need as this is the first '5 star' I've ever been to without complementary water in the room. Staff were friendly enough on check-in. The hotel is outdated and it's quite possible it may have been a hospital in the past.. good elevator to take you to your room. We had room 416, a loft room, with a beautiful view of the castle district and cathedral. Very hard bed, so I barely slept but my partner did. Bath tub was good and shower could have had more pressure. Clean and tidy large room with old crusty bath robes. We had a pleasant enough stay but if you want 5 star, look elsewhere.
