"Luxury at its finest"
One of the best hotels in Cairo in terms of room space as well as service! Their restaurants are pretty nice too and diverse. Whatever cuisine your are looking for, you will find it. The pool is amazing and they made it with a beach theme...yes, there is sand too! It's called The Beach!
"Marriott at its best"
From the abundant staff, to the sprawling property, this is a landmark property in a landmark city. Located minuets from Cairo International Airport, and right next to shopping mall, this Hotel is a winner. I happen to review one of their best suites, The Diplomatic Suite, which is over 1600 Sqft. The room was opulant and well appointed with multiple baths. very large bedroom and a nice size living room and reception area, adjacent to an eight person dinning room complete with a service enterance and storage area for food and serving equipments. I hosted over thirty people in my room awith room to spare. The marriott name shines in this city.
Spent several nights for business. Excellent rooms, i had one with pool view and small garden, the breakfast was exceptional and the services is top. The only down would be the proximity to the main road and therefore out door is noisy. Really enjoyed the stay. The Gym and the pools are also great.
Had a day use with my wife and kids it was really nice The kids enjoyed the artificial beach and activities And my wife and myself had enjoyed the lunch and the food Try the Italian restaurant for dinner very nice and cosy
"Very nice property, but...."
We stayed at this property from late April to early May. Very good hotel, fairly clean facility. Good size rooms. Has 6 pools, golf course and many other amenities. Few comments that are mainly service related: 1. Although our room was on the top floor, we hear chairs dragging above us early (almost) every morning' Not sure if there is a patio above us' 2. The lounge on level 2 is open 24 hours, we always attempted to have a night cap when we get back around 10:30 - 11:00 PM. It was extremely annoying that the housekeeping staff start cleaning the breakfast restaurant (attached to the lounge) right at 11:00 PM every evening. I think with a little tweaking and if they start later, the lounge would be almost empty. This is beside the loud conversation between staff that is loud enough that it interrupts any conversation. 3. Issues with flies especially around the pool to the extent that we had to cover any F&B items we order. 4. Staff usually speaks loud across a restaurant or lounge, this was experienced in few outlets. I am confident that the above can be corrected with some training.
