Located in buzzing Palermo Hollywood, just minutes walk from the city's best restaurants and shopping districts.
Comment of P. Alessandra , Italy the 2015-02-07

Great Hotel, great location, great service and amazing breakfast! Our room was big with a view over the rear garden area and the staff on reception were extremely helpful with advice in regards to where to eat etc… I would definitely recommend this place!
"Been to 65 countries, this is the best hotel we've ever stayed in"
My wife and I between us have visited 65 countries, in 6 continents. We’ve stayed in every type of accommodations imaginable from 5-star luxury hotels to dorm-style youth hostels, during every season of the year, all kinds of weather, in all kinds of neighborhood etc. We can unequivocally say that the Fierro Hotel is the best hotel we’ve stayed in, and it all has to do with the staff. Here are some details: - We stayed with our 15th month old son. The staff was so kind and accommodating with us, and genuinely engaged with us and our son. One afternoon, our son, who had hand foot and mouth illness during part of our trip, was being fussy such that we couldn’t finish our lunch at the restaurant. We left mid meal. The staff had our meal sent up AND gave us complimentary dessert , just because. - Before our trip, we emailed the concierge (Marcos and team) to see if they could help us book a private transfer during a tight timeframe from El Calafate Airport to Perito Mereno and back. Although this had nothing to do with the Buenos Aires leg of our trip, they went out of their way to make it happen. - They did the same regarding helping us book trains from BA to Colonia Uruguay. It was not easy booking online from the USA, but they walked us through it and took care of it all. - A true test of a hotel and its staff is how they help during a crisis. Three days into our stay, we had had our son’s passport stolen/lost. To make matters worse,it was New Year’s Eve and everything in BA was closed, and the police are notoriously bad in BA. Valencia from the front desk actually accompanied for hours all across BA as we looked for an open passport photography place and visited the police station to get a report filed. When the police were being lazy and difficult, Valencia guided me on how to handle and translated. We got the report thanks to her. - Other staff at the desk helped (without being asked!) by calling the airlines to see if we can shift around our trip to Patagonia Chile (where passport is required) to buy us time to get a new one. - Marcos knows everything fun and cool to do around Argentina and beyond. The most amazing thing about him and the staff is how they intuitively did things without being asked. For example, we had not booked anything for New Year’s Eve. Marcos found that out and said “listen guys, I know where you should go. Let me make the bookings.” We agreed. Sure enough, his taste was impeccable. - As far as the nuts and bolts of a hotel, Fierro exceeds all. Large, beautifully furnished rooms. Nice touches like chocolates on pillow and complimentary champagne and cake for New Years Eve. The restaurant Uco downstairs has such great food. Their burger is the perhaps the best burger we’ve ever had in the world. The breakfast is top notch. The location is in the hip Palermo Hollywood area. I object to the comments made by few that it’s far from the fun area of Palermo. I mean we walked around with our baby and it was effortless to get there. Further, BA as a city is extremely spread out. So, naturally, no hotel, Fierro included will be near EVERY attraction. - Let’s talk pricing. The cost to stay at Fierro was so so so reasonable. Because we travel with our baby, we try to be “low risk” and book American luxury hotels like the Park Hyatt etc. Thank goodness they were all booked during our stay. But for that, we would have never discovered the gem that is Fierro. My wife and I are very busy professionals (I’m a cardiologist and she is a lawyer-turned-CEO of a jewelry brand), seasoned travelers with very high standards. We simply cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We felt like these people were our family. In fact, when I finish posting this review, I intend to email Marcos and team to extend them an open invitation to visit us anytime here in the States. We only hope we can be as hospitable as they were to us.
"Great home away from home in Buenos Aires"
We stayed at Fierro with our two older children on vacation and it was an ideal home base for exploring Buenos Aires. The hotel staff were so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was consistently delicious. Nice to have a small pool to cool down in and the back patio was a great green space for breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening. The hotel is also located in a fun residential neighbourhood and you can easily walk to many great local restaurants. We would stay here again for sure!
"Great small boutique hotel in lovely Palermo"
I stayed 3 nights in Fierro hotel in January 2018 and enjoyed every minute of it! The room was very spacious and I had my own terrace so I could sit outside. The bed was perfect for a good nights rest after strolling through Palermo, downtown Buenos Aires or a daytrip to Colonia, Uruguay. The guys & girls at the reception are great: very friendly and always thinking one step ahead (like in offering me an early breakfast in my room when I had to leave before breakfast for my trip to Uruguay). Unfortunately Uco was closed during most of my stay, but the room service food is from the same kitchen and was very good as well.
"Lovely and Welcoming Hotel!"
I absolutely loved staying at the Fierro Hotel -- not only was my room exceptional and reasonably priced, but also the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. It was quiet, offered a generous breakfast, and had a great wine selection in the wine fridge in the room! 10/10 would stay again.
