This hotel is situated in a 19th-century townhouse, 200 metres from Copenhagen City Hall and 5 minutes? walk from Tivoli Gardens.
Nice, friendly, and a great location.Comment of V. Daniel , Canada the 2015-05-28
"Great breakfast buffet and a central location"
Overall a great hotel with a superior location close to the town square and the central station. The rooms were spacey enough, not cupboard sized, which I have tried in other Copenhagen hotels. And I liked the overall design of the room. It was also quiet enough, despite the central location of the hotel, probably because of the double doors. I really liked the breakfast buffet, many cereals and lots of fresh cut fruits. The only less good thing I noticed was a slight odeur of the sewers in the bathroom, which is probably due to the fact that the building is very old.
"The best of it’s category"
Lovely, non-mega-chain Hotel. Front desk staff superbly helpful and friendly. Public spaces gorgeous. Lovely, inviting enclosed courtyard. Single room comfortable, compact. Mini fridge with free water & Pellegrino. Tasty, comfortable Italian restaurant within. PERFECT central location close to Tivoli Gardens, tons of restaurants & cafes.
Standard hotel, nothing special. Breakfast could be better (more different foods). Place near Rådhuspladsen is good. Tivoli and railway station are not far away. Stroget is just around the corner. Hotel is quite expensive.
"WORST 4 stars hotel ever!!"
i stayed for 2 nights. The room was very dirty and i still found the water bottle cap from the previous guests on the floor (didnt take pic because i dont want it to ruin my euro trip album in my phone). We asked for slippers but they said they dont have any (seriously'!) Then we asked for the kettle to boil some hot water. The hotel said the rental for a kettle is DKK100 (Again, SERIOUSLY'!'!) Besides the location, i can't think of any reasons to stay at this hotel again or recommand my friends when they visit Copenhagen.
"Great location, average service, average room."
The location of the hotel is very central with all the highlight within walking distance. Our room with street view had a nice bed, but the bathroom needed some work. Busted tiles, broken lightbulb and a shower curtain which needed replacing. The most disappointing about the hotel was the reception desk. Three of the four receptionist we saw while walking in, would not great us (or even nod or something) while entering, which did not feel hospitable. Also I would not recommend the breakfast option at the hotel. We paid 310 kr / 40 euro for 2 persons which was to expensive price vs.qua Ity. To conclude: great location, ut the service and room make the experience average.
