This hotel is situated in a 19th-century townhouse, 200 metres from Copenhagen City Hall and 5 minutes? walk from Tivoli Gardens.
Nice, friendly, and a great location.Comment of V. Daniel , Canada the 2015-05-28
"I will not come back"
The best with the hotel is where it is situated. I have no complains regarding the service. The staff took good care of us. The hotel need to renovate the rooms and they need to do something with the temperature in the rooms. We had two rooms and they were very warm, 24 degrees. Impossible to sleep. We got a fan but it did not help. Therefore I will not come back
" Comfortable Downtown Accomodations"
Stayed for three nights while visiting a friend in the area. Very convenient, easy walk to train station, Tivoli Garden, city hall, Stroget and the Nyhavn area. As typical for most European hotels room was tight. It was comfortable and clean with a restaurant on sight. Would recommend it.
"Horrible Dark room with both noice and no way to get air"
Nice staff - but no matter how much they smiled and assisted me, I was still staying at the worst room, I had ever stayed in - and I was not offered another room, due to being fully booked. It was Dark all the time with very few 3 and not very good lamps to light the room up. I had to have a fan on all night since you can't get fresh air due to the window faced a closed courtyard. The staff scuffled with tables, trolleys and what not all night, and the small courtyard eccoed the sound like a loudspeaker. I normally never fill in these reviews, but you asked me yourself, and besides the staff, I unfortunately have nothing nice to say. Didn't touch my roomservice either - and I had a pizza in Denmark, hard to dissapoint there.
The Hotel was located within easy walking distance of the City Hall, railway station, main shopping street, wonderful restaurants and the Tivoli Gardens. The room was clean and smart, overlooking a covered courtyard, with a small fridge filled with complimentary soft drinks.
"Even jails have better rooms"
In booking.com we booked a standard double room and it looked amazing, big windows, bright, but the room you gave us was the worst i have ever seen and i honestly have never stayed in a worse room than room 105, on the first floor, the first on the right once you get out of the elevator. The window was small and not bright, we woke up at 11 and it felt like it's 8am or late evening because theres no daylight. We hated it so much that we checked out a day earlier and lost almost 300 euros but we don't care because we felt like in jail. That room was a hostel-type room, not worth even a 1 star. I wouldnt recommend your hotel to anyone ever. Another thing was that my wife got cold and I asked in your restaurant for a cup of tea ,hot one, but the restaurant just got closed but they still had a few tables. She said dont I have coffee machine in the room and tea' I said no because our room was a jail. And the restaurant staff told me they wont give me tea and then I had to walk in the rain to 7/11 to get hot water with tea.
