Highly recommended hotel in Mexico City - will definitely be back. Concierge was excellent in helping to plan trips to sites in and around the city. Fantastic restaurant and bar area in the hotel which is great for drinks.
"Solid, well located hotel"
My wife and I (along with 3 friends) stayed at the Four Seasons in Mexico City for 4 nights over President’s Day weekend. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay there again. The rooms are spacious and nice (although nothing unique), the courtyard and bar area are beautiful and great for relaxing after a day of seeing the city, breakfast is very good and the location is good to access polanco in one direction or the centro historico in the other direction. However, the hotel needs to improve its level of service. This was the first four seasons property we’d stayed at and we were disappointed in the overall service level. Pros: 1. Location – As I mention above, the FS is centrally located with good access to the key tourist areas / attractions. Additionally, it’s a 3 minute walk from the Chipultepec park which if nice for running. The surrounding neighborhood has some good restaurants and spots to check out. 2. Courtyard (bar / lounge area) – It’s a beautiful space to have a drink and relax 3. Rooms – Very spacious. Big king bed and nice sitting / desk area. The bathroom was big with nice finishes (although nothing unique design-wise) and a separate tub and shower. 4. Breakfast – Breakfast was in the restaurant overlooking the courtyard. Service at breakfast was excellent (prompt and very professional). The food was very good with a decent selection of Mexican and non-mexican items. Service issues: Although most of the hotel staff was very hard working and courteous, we had a number of service issues. The concierge was very slow to respond and wasn’t able to secure reservations (that we were able to secure on our own). Room service plates were left in our hallway for a full day. Our friend’s room door was left ajar by housekeeping and was left open the whole day while we were out (nothing was taken, but it was very careless). Service in the courtyard for drinks was very good sometimes and painfully bad other times (not bringing menus or taking orders for 10-15 minutes sometimes). Another friend’s room wasn’t ready because the hotel let another guest extend their stay despite our friend having a reservation.
"Best place to stay in Mexico City"
From the incredibly beautiful central courtyard, accommodations, restaurants and location there is no better place to stay in Mexico City than Four Seasons. After staying here for over 15 years, it is great to see so many familiar faces from staff that always make me feel at home.
Very luxurious hotel with large rooms and excellent beds. Good restaurant and bar. Service of the hotel staff was very friendly and pleasant. The location of the hotel is perfect for business with lots of nearby visits on walking distance
Location is great as well as the construction and staff. The restaurant at the internal garden is not so good, with a slow service. We ordered lunch and it came in parts, and even after complaining to the waiter they could not serve all dishes together nor in a timely manner. Our experience at dinner at the italian restaurant was fantastic. high recommend.
