"A top-notch Four Seasons"
What a wonderful hotel! With a convenient location, solid hard product, and warm, genuine service, it's hard to beat the FS Tokyo. The property is ideally situated, just steps from Tokyo station. For a Four Seasons, this hotel is relatively unassuming and at just 57 rooms, it feels like a boutique hotel, which makes for a pleasantly intimate stay without compromising on luxury. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to an executive suite, which was extremely spacious, featuring a living room/desk area, bedroom, a guest powder room, plenty of storage/closet space, and views overlooking the train tracks. It doesn't sound particularly glamorous, but it was actually pretty enjoyable to watch all the different trains zip by. Soundproofing was excellent - the noise was minimal and I wasn't bothered at all. I also loved the decor, which struck the perfect balance of elegance and minimalism. As always, the bed was very comfortable, and I enjoyed relaxing in the living room as well. I was also pleasantly surprised by the minibar, which featured an array of teas, some interesting fresh-squeezed juices (including yuzu), and a Nespresso machine equipped with a milk frother, with fresh milk in the refrigerator. I also couldn't resist purchasing the cute (albeit pricy) teddy bear that was perched on the minibar shelf. Amenities were quite good as well, with high-quality slippers, Etro toiletries, pyjamas, and a snack plate with fresh fruit and some tasty sweets. I ended up eating breakfast and lunch at Motif, their sole restaurant, which offers quality cuisine with some decent views of the surrounding area. The Japanese breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed the uni pasta that I tried during lunch. However, I did wish they had some more traditional options to choose from. Service was wonderful in all aspects. The concierge was very helpful and responsive, helping to secure a dinner reservation with just a few hours' notice and dealing with a bit of email back-and-forth while I was out during the day. The station escort service was a thoughtful touch and I highly recommend it. I booked my trip pretty last-minute so I didn't end up using the arrival service, but I did take up their offer to be escorted to the Narita Express station upon check-out, which ended up being super convenient. The very friendly staff member assisted me with my luggage, reserving my seat (and even scrolling through all the screens to find the best seat), and guiding me through the maze that is Tokyo station all the way to the platform where my train car was.
"Excellent luxurious stay in Tokyo"
Excellent luxurious stay at four seasons. As usual excellent service, smiling staff, attention to details and a very comfortable room and bed mattresses. We loved our stay there and enjoyed the whole trip
"Not your typical Four Seasons but still great level of service"
We stayed at the hotel for one night during a visit to Tokyo in April. Although it is not your typical Four Seasons hotels, the service is equally impeccable. The hotel is small and the facilities are great. The room was very comfortable and the location is quite convenient if you are going to be around Marunouchi and/or want good access to Tokyo Station and/or other connections. The service at the hotel was great and definitely the highlight of our stay, and even though we did not get to have dinner at the restaurant, the breakfast was delicious and worth every penny.
"Not a typical Four Seasons "
This hotel is located very close to the Tokyo Station, 2 min walk. Hence, transportation from/to Narita via Narita Express is very convenient. Royal Imperial Palace is 5 min walk. Hotel also offers complementary bikes, if needed. Though, the hotel is in office building, first 7 floors. So don't expect the hotel/lobby or restaurant to be typical flashy Four Seasons style. Lobby is so small that they have just one table for check-in which in my opinion very sub standard for 5 stars hotel. Rooms are ok size. Gym has necessary equipments. I think this hotel has may be 50 rooms. So gym was not crowded at times. Overall, locations is great but I was expecting more, compared to other Four Seasons. So bit disappointed. Else, all good.
