Booked directly for one night via their website using a deal that gives a free upgrade from studio to one bedroom and they really blew us away! We were on a higher level and had great views of the city. Modernly furnished (the pictures were pretty accurate), decently sized living area. Buffet breakfast was great! The gym and pool look fantastic (we didnt get a chance). Close to the action of the city. A downside, a lot of the furniture was designed for the look, and not necessarily that comfortable. Couldn't watch TV in the living space for long periods of time, but thankfully the bedroom had a TV which was comfortable to use :)! Staff were friendly too! Really looking forward to my next stay.
"Comfortable and roomy"
Short business trip- this place would suit longer stayed well as rooms are well equipped. Location is pretty central and closer to China Town. Need confuse and staff were attentive. Breakfast was fairly good but didn't strike me as particularly good value for money.
The staff went further and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. Gave us complementary wine and upgraded our room for the special occasion. The room, facilities and design of the whole accomadation were new and modern while feeling very cosy and comfortable. Would highly recommend for a great and reliable stay.
"Not good enough"
Have previously stayed here in both he penthouse and one bedroom apartment. Thought this time I would try the DELUXE studio and what a mistake that turned out to be. Small room is a better description or perhaps pokey 4 star. Designer kitchen - I agree. Would have needed a good designer to fit it into the small cupboard that held a microwave and a few other assorted kitchen utensils. Just enough room to squeeze past between the end of the bed and a small 'deluxe' wall TV. Also scored the room opposite the lift doors where I could easily have joined in the numerous conversations, without opening my door,at any time of the night. So much for the advertised soundproofed rooms. Tried to change rooms but no others available so had to suffer two nights - never again. It's about time the hotels describe the rooms accurately. If you have a rubbishy room in a "luxury" hotel warn the quests when they book, make it cheap or turn it into a broom cupboard. This one better described as small, pokey, claustrophobic room, opposite noisey lift foyer with everything you need for cooking crammed into a small cupboard all yours at a five star price. Oh, I forgot to mention the jackhammers start at 7am. On the positive side a nice smile from a lovely receptionist when I complained. She's heard it all before.
"Limited mobility perfection"
Stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with elderly parents. The staff could not have been more accommodating in answering my many detailed questions. There is disabled parking right beside the lifts which goes directly to the floors. The unit is all flat, has nice views towards Darling Harbour (west) and flat walk-in showers. Apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and very accommodating.
