"Weekend Trip to Mexico City"
It was a nice hotel. Honestly, I wasn't in the hotel a whole lot because it is in a great location. Also, the concierge did a great job of helping me find things to do and setting up tours at reasonable costs. I did eat in the restaurant once and the food was great.
"A bad experiences!!!!!!😟😔"
The hotel is in quiet good location, but the rooms are a bit worn out, most of the bathroom are flooding at all the time when you open shower. And top of everything we had a really bad experience in the lower basement bar is located one of our Colleague was insulted in the female bathroom and was it attacked by stranger Who was coming out from hidden place, behind the mirrors was a secret door !🚪 I don’t think things like this can happen without anybody’s help from inside!!!We will never go back to this place!!!
"Mexico City Stay"
Overall great location, room was very small. Service was good. Price was good. Hotel is not in good repair, if your looking for a clean room and safe place to stay this is for you. The city is amazing
The hotel is very well located and the staff is amazing. I had a minor issue when checking out, so I recommend -if its necessary- you ask the front desk attendant to make a note in the billing order just to be safe.
"An Earthquake Drill should never be "Optional""
The Hotel is perfect for the price! The location simply unbeatable... One block from Reforma Avenue's Angel de La Independencia" monument. I stayed at this hotel from September 14th thru the 19th (The day of the Earthquake)... I decided to stay at his hotel because I went to do several comedy shows around the area and it was also very close to the Telehit TV Studios where I went to tape two comedy shows. I have to say that everything about the hotel is actually really good except one thing... There was a Huge Banner hanging outside the hotel announcing the annual earthquake drill that would take place at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 19th commemorating the devastating quake that destroyed Mexico City back in 1985. I even took a picture of that because it was sad to remember all the people that perished back in 1985. Little did we know, in 2017 also on September 19th (one in a million chances that would happen again) another devastating quake hit Mexico City. One block away from the hotel a building collapsed!!! My complain is this... The night before the drill... The hotel sent paper memos to each room and they even placed them inside each elevator and the message read: "There will be an earthquake drill tomorrow September 19th at 11:00am. If you do not want to participate is ok, it is optional" Optional' Really' Is that how much you care for your guests' Well, Galeria Plaza Reforma Hotel management... Each hotel guest should be aware what to do in case of an earthquake, specially if your hotel is located amidst one of the most active earthquake areas on earth. Bad call Hotel Management, BAD CALL!
