"Nice hotel good facilities"
Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights b&b, arrived at about 10 pm checked in alright but had to wait for a porter to take our bags and show us our room, after about a 20 minutes wait we made our own way to the room. Our room was on the ground floor with a pool view but the only view we had was a palm tree, next morning asked if we could change rooms so they gave us a room on the side of the hotel it did have a sea view and was much better. The breakfast was very good plenty of choice ( even cava ) we used the spa a few times which was well equipped and worth a visit. The hotel pool is good quality sun loungers and towel service, there wasn't much atmosphere around the pool perhaps some subtle music ' .The beach is fine but a bit rocky as lot of the coastline is . It's about a 25 minute walk into town along the beach or if you go the other way along the beach to the sand dunes you will pass through a naturist area. We went into town most evenings to eat there are loads of restaurants to choose from and is a lot cheaper than the hotel, but it is a 5 star so expect to pay more. It is a really nice hotel and very clean and we both enjoyed our stay there
"Very nice hotel best suited to couples"
I travelled with my wife and 3.5 year old daughter to this hotel in October 2017. Lovely staff -- extremely helpful and welcoming. From certain angles, the hotel might look a little tired to you but it was nothing significant. We had junior suite with sea view on the ground floor. Great size room. The hotel provided a cot which our daughter just loved. Big TV with english language channels. Lovely bathroom. Good WiFi coverage in the room and across the estate. Not high speed but adequate and I didn't see any device limitations. Breakfast buffet very good. We used evening buffet regularly -- generally there was always something exceptional to eat. Maybe one night was a slight disappointment. I have a slight grudge that the hotel charged 19 euros for child 2-12 at the evening buffet. Our daughter is 3.5 and is currently only eating pasta so this seemed like a lot of money. Water was expensive too. There is a sandy beach immediately available to guests but really only useful for paddling due to the rocks. Personally I feel that the prime photo is misleading. Really nice swimming pool area -- one heated pool which was important for my daughter. There is a children's centre that we used alot -- the staff were wonderful and very creative but they could have been given more equipment and games to use with the children. As others have said, it is a 30min walk into the town. The spa and gym are very well equipped -- highly recommended. In terms of improvements, I'd recommend that the hotel invest in a decent espresso machine! I was really desperate for good coffee at times.
"Fantastic hotel amazing views "

"Pro's and cons"
I always try give an honest and fair review both for the hotel in terms of feedback, and to help other travellers. Located 30 mins walk to town and 10 mins stroll to nearest supermarket. Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and all the staff very friendly, helpful and gave great service. The pool area is probably one of the nicest and again cleanest we've encountered with waiters always available for a refreshing drink. Sun loungers the best and most comfy ever, better than the beds in a lot off hotels. Beach was nice for a bit more breeze with sunbeds etc however the hotels photos showing sand from the beach leading into the sea have been airbrushed / doctored to the extreme. Unfortunately for the hotel there are a number of derelict or totally unfinished buildings as neighbours which spoils the surroundings somewhat. Maybe the government should spend some of the 7% tax charged to every hotel bill to help rectify. Rooms well appointed, nice big and comfy beds, although some of the furniture a little dated. We had a pool view which was lovely. Maids do a great job tirelessly keeping everything spotless. Food was on the whole good, breakfast always nice with plenty of choice, on the downside we felt the price of 39 Euro plus tax to have the evening buffet was high, especially if like us not big eaters, this left us with the A La Carte restaurants which would be my main negative of the hotel. Firstly not enough choice, 3 restaurants of which 1 is Gourmet, and not everyone's cup of tea, then 3 evenings each week there is only 1 restaurant open, usually the Yamatori Asian, the one night we ate in the other A La Carte ( Las Columnas ) the food was extremely disappointing, I had chicken and my wife Lamb and it was poor enough that we cancelled our booking for the following evening, instead choosing Room service again. This was due to only wanting so much Asian food over 10 nights, also the food on room service was really good, best plain grilled Fillet Steak I've had in ages, pity I couldn't sit and eat it in a restaurant. Pool bar could have been opened some evenings as it had lovely views and did nice food, we ate lunch in there every day, only thing we didn't get was they would produce fantastic salads and meals, even Burgers were great, yet the Turkey and Tomato sandwich we where unfortunate to order once had no resemblance to Turkey whatsoever, it may have been made in a plastics factory in Turkey, ( it wasn't charged for but take it of the menu or make it using Turkey). To sum up, Loads of positives but a few things let it down.
my wife had never been abroad before and i did a bit of research to find the perfect place for her ....getting off the plane and then having a 45 minute trip to the hotel to then be greeted by a member of staff who took our luggage off our hands and then gave us a sparkling drink was a great welcoming. He then escorted us to our room which i booked a sea front view....he explained what the hotel had to offer and was very polite. Our room was fantastic...bed was huge, very clean, the en suite was perfect and then we saw that view which i woke up to for the next 7 days and wow! sunrise was always around 7.30 to 8.00 and it was beautiful. the pools are a thing to behold..the tropical feel around you was just breath taking. the waiters were great ...everything was always done for you...this was 1st class service. The buffet breakfast and meals were fantastic..food was of a high standard and there was something for everyone. In the night we went to the bar and listened to the singers and it was the right setting of instruments and songs for such a lovely hotel...i must have tried every cocktail at the bar (its 15 euros a cocktail..i didnt mind but may be expensive to other people) I went to the gym 3 times and it had decent machines on offer...my wife enjoyed the spa and indoor pools , especially the bed bookings on the pier. we also got a complimentary letter under our door 3 days in saying hope we are having a good time and have 3 hours for free on the bed lounges. The beach is great...a few rocks but that didnt bother me. there was a town 30 mins walk which had a few beaches on the way with just sand. There was a lounge room for football viewing and pool tables where me and my wife would go to straight after dinner. the only thing i think they could have made this holiday better is having a bar open at night by the poolside because in the night time when all is lit up its magical. We didnt want to go home and 7 days was not enough...we have made so many great memories there and we will be returning again someday.
