"Definitely 5 star!"
We are just back from a wonderful week in this 5 star hotel and were impressed with the all round standard. First impressions of luxury and comfort were carried through to the whole holiday. The room with sea view was large and airy and the beds were very comfortable. We were amazed how close Lanzarote was and could see it clearly from our balcony on the third floor. Although the weather was hot and sunny it was v. windy but as well as beds and umbrellas on the beach there were little windbreaks which helped enormously and we had great fun watching the Atlantic rollers breaking just in front us. wonderful for the winfdsurfers! We didn't spend much time by the pool but the pool area looked very relaxing with lush greenery and large comfortable beds. The breakfast and dinner choices were very varied and the dining room was never too crowded, which meant that meals could be enjoyed in a pleasant atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and accommodating and worked hard to clear tables quickly. We walked into Corralejo a couple of times along the beach but it was further than we anticipated and we got a taxi back.
"Lovely Classy Relaxed hotel "
Stayed here for a couple of weeks in Feb/March and found it to be a first class hotel. The check in was quick and efficient, we had a ground floor junior suite that had a fantastic view over the sea. Nice bottle of gratis bubbly was brought to our room. Importantly for me the bed was really comfortable, fabulous bathroom and living room with sliding doors out to a nice terrace. The pool area , which was right outside our door has a well maintained garden area with some really comfortable sun beds and excellent service for drinks. The poolside restaurant was perfect for lunch or just coffee depending on how hungry you get. The main restaurant gave a great breakfast until 11 so you don't have to rush! The coffee was outstanding and was a great start to the day. The waiters and waitresses worked so hard to clear tables and bring you whatever you needed. A special mention for the meeters and greeters at the entrance they were always there with a smile and pleasant greeting! Interesting cabarets most nights while you have a few drinks before bed. A word of warning for those of a nervous disposition. Don't go walking among the dunes where the nudists reside, it's a nice walk but expect to see some things that you'll never be able to unsee!
"First class but not stuffy"
This hotel is a joy to be in. Friendly welcoming staff who will all do all they can to make your visit most enjoyable. The standards of all facilities are first class, whether it be in their universal cleanliness, quality and availability. Restaurants are of a superb standard, and not too pricey considering that. The flexidinner tickets cost 38 euros pppn if bought in batches of three, which in particular gives access to a practically limitless array of starters, mains and sweets, all freshly cooked in front of you. The spa facility is really well run, with a huge sauna, sanarium and steam room, as well as swimming and hydrotherapy pools. It seems that virtually all bedrooms have sea views looking over the beach, which is patrolled by guards and cleaned and levelled every other day by a clever machine. Only niggle was that the nearest small supermarket was 10 minutes walk, the nearest small shopping mall 20 minutes and the town 40 minutes, so if you are eating out taxis are the best bet, not expensive. Day trips are a bit limited, but the round the island trip, with all the major sights and a rustic lunch included, is good value. All in all, a great holiday!
"5 star with outstanding food and classy evening entertainment"
Spent there one week in April/May with my family. Service was close to perfect, food was outstanding – we cannot rave enough about the outstanding choice of high quality products on their daily buffet and the exquisite dining in the Japanese and the Spanish restaurant. Breakfast was a delight, but also the evening buffet was fantastic with choices of caviar, homemade fresh soups, fresh fish, freshly prepared pasta, local dishes such as Manchego and other Spanish cheese or finest chorizo, outstanding and innovative seafood dishes and so on. The food, in comparison to many other five star hotels, was truly an experience. We did like our big room with a side sea view and we enjoyed the pool area with lush vegetation and beautiful flowers and birds, comfortable lounge chairs and of a decent size. The only downside was the fact that the main pool was not heated. Yes, there is a huge pool inside in the wellness area zone (which we used and enjoyed, too, but not ideal if you have a small kid), and there is the baby pool that is heated (a nice one!) and an additional pool for kids. But the only pool outside that you can use to really swim lengths is the large pool outside, and that was unfortunately very cold and no one was in. The wellness zone is very comfortable and up to the highest standards. I had a massage which was perfect, and we used the hairdresser that did a Man’s and baby cut – really nice and very fair prices. Apart from the food we would like to mention the evening entertainment, which we found just high class! We enjoyed different styles of music every night. It is somewhat a bit more sophisticated, but again, it varies a lot and there was not a single night that we did not enjoy. Fuerteventura is a nice island, we rented a car for a couple of days and enjoyed discovering the island a lot. The Beach, as said often, is not the best in front of the hotel BUT it is of natural and authentic beauty. The island has so many beaches to discover and explore, only five minutes away, so that should not prevent you from visiting. Corralejo has some nice shops and a nice small beach at the end of it, with some good local restaurants. Would we come back' Yes.
We stayed in this hotel first time last year in March. WE loved the hotel, the staff and the room. The breakfast is amazing with some variety that it's actually hard to decide what to eat. The gym is small but have all the main equipment you can find in any gym. They also run classes! We loved it so much that we decided to go again and our stay was even better only because the room was on the 3rd floor and warmer than the room by the pool.
