The Grand Hotel et de Milan enjoys an excellent location in the centre of Milan, opposite via Montenapoleone. The Cathedral, La Scala Theatre and financial district are located nearby. The most important museums such as the Poldi Pezzoli, the Royal Palace, the Brera picture gallery - surrounded by the lively artist's quarter - and the Galleria are all just a stone's throw away. The property is just a short walk from the Alla Scala theatre the Duomo and the financial area of the city.

"Old English Charm "
I absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay here. It's a pity it was only for a night but the fact that check out was at 12pm made up for it. We arrived before our room was ready and we were offered complementary coffee while we waited. We had bicycles and the porter made sure they kept them safe in storage for us. Perfect.
"Incredible service, fabulous location, beautiful hotel in the best part of town"
I cannot write a more rave review of a hotel. Incredibly attentive staff, beautiful room, made to feel as if the whole place belonged only to you, and they were aware of and accommodating your every need.
"Home from home"
This is my second visit now to ‘The Grand Hotel’ and once again I have no complaints. This hotel exceeds all my expectations, it’s warm and inviting and has a wonderful history. The staff are extremely pleasant and the service impeccable. It’s my home from home and I will definitely be back. Thankyou all.
"Top notch and great location !"
Excellent customer service, food was delicious and accommodation was amazing! The location is great, right in the heart of Milan just near the Montenapoleone fashion district. The two restaurants, Caruso and Don Carlos(dinner only ) offer a high-quality culinary experience but what's impresses more than anything else is the quality of service and courtesy. When e dined there for two evenings and found out that the restaurant is frequented by some elegant people with not staying at the hotel, an unmistakable sign of high quality and sophistication. I would highly recommend this hotel for a luxury stay in. Loved my stay!
"A venerable, historical hotel with some flaws"
The Grand Hotel et de Milan, a venerable institution (Verdi lived here), is well situated on a main thoroughfare (Via Manzoni was the Roman Decamanus). Breakfast was excellent, dinner at Don Carlos was so-so, and appetizers at social events were mediocre. The public rooms are lovely. Housekeeping and other services were excellent. Laundry prices were steep (17 euros for a shirt). The key to the room is heavy and clunky, hence it needs to be turned in when you leave the hotel, which I found inconvenient. You'll enjoy this hotel if you like tradition but may find some features irritating (as I did) if you prefer the modern.
