"Convention stay for 2 nights"
Excellent property with large comfortable rooms. Lobby located right on top of the hotel. Walking distance to places like the pavilion through a covered bridge. Pavilion has shopping, bars and restaurants. Airport is far away. consider taking a train from KL sentral which is a 25 min ride away during eveing traffic
I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Grand Hyatt KL. I was well taken care of by a dedicated and friendly staff, who several times went out of their way to make my stay even more comfortable. Would go back again without a second thought.
"Is a great stay!"
The customer service is good. The Thirty8 restaurant is good. The room is great. Happy with the complimentary birthday cake. If got complimentary wine will be the best. Is very great experience for me and my husband. Definitely will come back to stay with my kids.
Hotel is really nice. It has a great buffet breakfast. Large clean rooms. A great bar area and an awesome pool. There is also a gym and a spa too. Would recommend staying here as it's convenient for pavilion and around.
"Great stay but Club lounge was lack lustre"
The Grand Hyatt's staff & hospitality went above of what we see in many of the 5 star hotels we frequently stay at (9-10X per year). I would like to also point out the rooms were immaculately clean but I did have a slightly noticeable odour on my pillow when I checked in, smelt a little stale. Other than this housekeeping was great & fixtures all highly rated. I will however like to point out that the Club lounge was a little disappointing in terms of tranquility and standards. I feel children under the age of 13 should not be allowed during cocktail hour as most parents/families seem to treat this time period as a day care centre with free food. Both my self and several guests that were there on both Friday & Saturday night had to move tables as the children were either crying loudly or running around. One gentleman left all together without even finishing his beverage. My self and a couple other guests even made a comment and discussion about this during our stay so I don't think we're the only ones that feel this way. I would also recommend having some variety on the offerings off food, we had the same fare served on all 3 nights we stayed which was a little disappointing. We stayed in the Traders hotel next door last time and I must admit their Club lounge was 20-25% better in terms of food value & offerings. I would also recommend offering an optional in room movie package as most 5 star hotels do, I don't mind paying for it and feel it would fit your hotel room perfectly as the TV & room configuration would support this. We often choose a 24hour unlimited movie deal and happy to pay upwards for USD40 for this. Might be an idea for further up sell or alternative revenue' Perhaps provide a couple large water bottles in room rather than several smaller ones. The amount of plastic bottles at the end of our stay which I understand is unavoidable but a little disturbing, hopefully your property has a good recycling system for this. All things considering I would definitely stay back at your hotel however I would probably avoid the club access unless you decide to review the mentioned issues above.
