Excelent hotel in Union Square. Excelent localization ( close to market street, malls, cable car, restaurants, bart) . Very good service room, check in/out and concierge. The room is big, beautiful and very confortable. I really appreciated it and strongly recommend.
"A comfortable room A great location "
Spent a week in S.F. And really enjoyed the location of the Grand Hyatt. It's 1 block from the actual Union Square, close to great shopping and great restaurants. Even liked the convenience of the CVS across the street. All the tourist spots are a short Uber/Lyft ride. The is a great base hotel to enjoy San Francisco.
"Excellent Hotel for Business or Pleasure"
This hotel is perfectly situated for the business traveler or for vacation. It's close to BART and the cable car line. Right in Union Square for shopping. Hotel is very clean and recently updated rooms. The lobby and lounge areas are open and modern. Food and beverage at the lounge are very good. Note if you are driving and need parking, use the off site option-it's $39/night vs $60 for valet and is literally across the street!
"Luxurious, modern, and friendly "
Located by Union Square, easy walking to restaurants and shops, and great hotel amenities made this a perfect downtown hotel for us. Top notch casual restaurant, wine bar, coffee bar, and plenty of cool seating around the lobby with WiFi. Short cab ride (or short uphill hike) to Top of the Mark at the Mark Hopkins hotel for the best Sunday brunch and 360 degree views of the bay and city...but instead of the tiny bathrooms and musty old world charm of the Hopkins, this Hyatt has bright energy, spacious bathrooms to accommodate a couple getting ready together, and a woman’s favorite little touches like a makeup mirror and plenty of storage drawers etc.
"The grand club is a must"
Great hotel in a perfect location 100 yards from Union square, we upgraded to the grand club at a cost of $75 a night for the two of us and it was worth every penny. The room was perfect on the 31st floor with stunning views of the city. The Grand Club on the 32nd floor is brilliant. Excellent selection of breakfast foods hot and cold plus a great selection of evening food again hot and cold eaten with the best view of the city from two different angles. There is a Honour bar in place at $3 for a wine or beer $4 for a spirit, and thats for a full glass of wine. Trust me at well over $10 a small drink in the town this is well worth the little extra.A special mention must go to Dave and Jimmie who work the grand club in the evening, the perfect hosts.
