"Hotel feels home away home."
Their services are exceptional. I have stayed this hotel twice a year for last 15 years & will continue to stay because I feel home away home. Their 26th floor is like my own kitchen to grab coffee & other drinks with all of their finger foods. And all of their staff members are willing extend their service for my needs with big smile on their face. The location is amazing with huge underground shopping center & metro station. and I can't ask for more.

This hotel in Gangnam Seoul keeps excelling in every stay; Great location, rooms are the best you can find, spacious and comfortable as always; The staff service is great and one can see the GM touch and care all around. I have stayed at this hotel twice and I am very happy with the facility and services. They even allowed me to check out late due to my meeting schedule. Gym is great with nice and modern equipment. The gym staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is great. Strongly recommend!
"Hotel needs updating "
We stayed here from oct 1-4th, and while we enjoyed the city very much, the hotel seemed to come up short. The hotel is sort of far away from everything and a minimum 10,000krw taxi ride from the where everything is. Here is mostly commercial buildings and a few malls. The one nice thing, however, was the hotel is directly connected to the mall next door so it allows for easy access to the mall and also the aquarium (which we did not go to). The hotel room itself while very large felt outdated, had sort of gross carpeting, and bathroom again albeit large, had just a shower head nozzle that shot straight out at you. The bathtub I appreciated was there, however expect more and nicer from a 5 start hotel. Staff is very sweet and helpful, and wasn't an issue for late check out on our day. They were happy to help arrange taxis opened and closed the door for you from cars which I'm starting to see less and less of, (ask for orange taxis they are cheaper) help print out directions to places and recommend whatever you're looking for. The breakfast buffet was great and had lots of delicious options however on the last day we had to wait in a 25 minute line to get seated. They were allowing non guests of the hotel in front of us which really made me angry as being a hotel guest, I expected priority and was given the opposite.
"Very professional service"
I stayed here for 5 nights in September 2017. This was not my first stay. Apart from the usual professional services, I had the most pleasant surprise this time when Concierge was able to trace and retrieve two hand carry bags which my friend and I placed in the back trunk of the taxi which we boarded at the hotel entrance, and completely forgot when we jumped off the taxi at our destination!! To our biggest relief, Mr Fox (Soohyung) Kim and Ms Gina Kim of concierge was able to locate and contact the taxi driver through the hotel CCTV system and the bags were delivered back to the hotel within only a couple of hours! I am so grateful for their execellent service, as well as the many friendly conversations and efficient services of others of Guest Services and in the Lounge, including Hena Park, Michelle and Julia. Well done, Intercontinental Grand Seoul, I will be back to this hotel for sure!
