"Nice Upscale Place"

"My favourite in Seoul"
I've stayed at Intercon Coex and Marriott and this is the best of the three. Rooms are nice. Great gym and pool. Quick breakfast with quality options. Very good lobby lounge for a quite drink with friends or business associates. Right next door to the city airport terminal. Also had a small event in a conference room and the staff were excellent.
"This hotel was great! location, clean, reasonable, and friendly staff"
We stayed at 3 different hotels when we went to Korea. This hotel, The Shilla Jeju, and Shilla Seoul.(you can read my reviews of those). This was by far the best. It was similar in price to the other two but the location was the best. There was an incredible shopping center connected to other shopping centers all below ground and air conditioned. Also next to the subway system so convenience was a huge factor in my rating. Another important factor is food. The breakfast buffet was included in our package and at first i wasn't sure if we would want the buffet but i was pleasantly surprised by the selection and quality of the foods served. Very high quality and lots to choose from including fresh squeezed Kiwi, watermelon and other fruit juices. I've had many buffets and this ranks as one of the best i've had! If you don't get the package with breakfast, it's $48 per person so best to get it in the package. I almost didn't but for about $25 more, you get breakfast buffet for 2 and it's well worth it. The room only comes with 2 free buffet so i had to pay for my Son(10 y.o.) it was $26 for him but he really enjoyed it. Trust me, well worth it. The room was spacious and great views of the city. Bigger than the rooms at the Shilla. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was the pool is only for Adults so my Son couldn't swim but he really didn't want to anyways so no big deal for us but if you plan to use the pool, your kids won't be able to. Now, the nice lady did tell us that if we came later in the day and it wasn't crowded she would let my Son swim so the staff was nice about it. This hotel also had plenty of food choices and although a bit pricey, well worth it. Shilla, which we stayed at also was way out of the realm of understandable pricing. Next time we go to Seoul, we're staying here.
"Love the hotel!"
I stayed here for one night after my wedding -before leaving the country. The hotel is very luxurious with great breakfast. But I felt like the breakfast was lacking -compared to the size of the restaurant. The neighborhood is not bad except it tends to get busy on weekdays. If you want to enjoy the luxury, this is the hotel!
"Excellent for Business in Gangnam"
Stayed 10 nights at the residential suite. Very spacious and comfortable, perfect to have few guests to visit for a coffee in private setting and discuss business informally. The only real downside with the room was the erratic internet connection en suite, especially in the bedroom the connection was pretty slow. The lounge area is the best out of all comparable hotels I've been to in Seoul. With the high ceiling and classy decor, I often met with clients and personal visitors there and felt very comfortable. The club lounge and business center provided excellent service. So overall, this is a great hotel for business travelers. Location is great if Gangnam is your focus in visiting Seoul- it worked out perfect for me because my work didn't take me far beyond Cheongdam-dong and Gangnam Station area. It won't be as convenient if you intend to visit north of the river like Myeong-dong or Itaewon frequently. Also, despite the immediate connection to Coex, I don't enjoy shopping there as much as other areas of Seoul. JW, for example, has more diverse access to high-end and low-end shopping. I will definitely stay at Grand Intercon again if my business requires me back to Gangnam.
