The H10 Villa de la Reina hotel is in the cosmopolitan avenue Gran Via, right in the centre of Madrid. The Gran Via underground station is just 50 metres away from the hotel, and the airport is only 12km away.
Super HotelComment of V. Kassandra / Elvis , France the 2016-12-01
We stayed here for 4 nights in May over the weekend of my birthday. Its location couldn't be better. Its about mid-way along the Gran Via and so in walking distance for just about all Madrid's main sights. The hotel has a traditional Spanish feel to it. That's not to say it isn't modern and stylish. It is but unlike many hotels these days, where you could be staying anywhere, it has a strong Spanish identity. The rooms are a bit on the small side but are very clean, stylish and have all mod cons. The free wifi was also very good, both in room and throughout the hotel, including in the lobby bar, which served great and reasonably proced cocktails. Oh and the staff were great too. Very efficient, pleasant and helpful.Comment of D. Rhona , United Kingdom the 2015-05-12

Buen hotel. He estado en dos ocasiones y siempre genial. Buena ubicacion, limpio, bonita decoracion, buen desayuno y personal atento. Solo una pega, mi habitacion daba a Gran via y el aislamiento de las habitaciones no es lo mejor.Comment of L. Isabel , Spain the 2014-01-29

Muy bonito el hotel. Con unas vistas a la Gran Vía espectaculares. No oye nada de ruido. La última noche no funcionó el aire acondicionado. Personal muy amable. Limpieza un 10. Gracias.Comment of D. Antje , Spain the 2013-10-13
"Great service and location"
This hotel is close to everything, bus, train, bars, museums, plazas, Puerta de Alcalá, Palacio Real and more. For Americans rooms are too small but we know how is in Europe. The hotel is clean, big lobby and seating area next to the bar with to the Gran Via street.
"Weekend in Madrid"
Superbly located on the Gran Via in the centre of Madrid this hotel oozes character. All of the city sights are within walking distance and a glass of Cava or iced water at reception are always welcome after a days exploring. We had a balcony room on the 5th floor overlooking the main street which was light, airy and spacious. Bathroom was well appointed with lovely soft towels. Seats in the open lounge area are comfortable if a bit low and round tables are small if having something to eat. Decor is immaculate everywhere and the two lifts efficient. A bit disappointed with the cooked food at breakfast which was always not very warm and the cold buffet looked a bit dry as though it had been left out too long. Overall the staff were friendly and efficient.
"Characterful hotel en pleno centro de la Gran Via"
The hotel is in an extremely central location on Gran Via only a few metres away from Gran Via metro station. Entering the hotel lobby is decidedly beguiling as one initially thinks that one is in an old antique library with a huge array of books and a fireplace. Check-in was routine. Although I had hoped for a room overlooking Gran Via, the main thoroughfare running through Madrid, I was pleasantly surprised to have a room at the back end of the hotel on the fifth floor that benefited from an extensive balcony. This overlooked the rooftops of Chueca and was decidedly appealing indeed. It was an excellent facility in which to dine al fresco having purchased provisions from a supermarket. The rooms were very antique and old-fashioned. There was a beautiful banker’s lamp on a chest of draws adjacent to the bed and an array of other beautiful lights. The bathroom was delightful and made entirely of marble. My only qualm is that there was an aperture in the marble near the shower that had not been filled in. It would also have been better to have a single large bed than two smaller beds pushed together even though I was staying with my mother. Unbeknown to me breakfast was included in the rate. I did not take advantage of this as I was still in bed the following morning but my mother was delighted by the array of foods and the ambience and had nothing but positive things to say about the hotel breakfast experience. I would stay here again but this would depend entirely on the rate.
"Superb value in the center of the city"
The entire staff was polite and attentive. Room was not too big or too small, just right. And you aren't charged outrageous fees for additional assistance or amenities. The lobby is bright, modern and very inviting, just to sit and chat, have a drink or share a tea with friends.
"Perfect. Beautiful hotel, decor, food, ambience and location. The staff and service is excellent."
The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The shower is amazing. Breakfast is huge with a massive selection. The lift/elevator is gorgeous (you will know what I mean when you see it) the whole decor of the hotel is stunning and eclectic. Location is unbeatable with the metronleaving the airport direct to the door of the hotel for €4.50, sol and chueca, Banco de Espana etc is all walking distance. Shopping locally is brilliant. I've stayed here before and will stay again. I recommend room 504 for the amazing view and balcony. I can't wait to stay here again soon
