Is a fine hotel and offers you a lot of value against a competitive price. Rooms are well equipped not to big, but big for HK. The pool and the gym are fantastic. You don't have wifi in the rooms that is a minus. You do have free wifi in the park next to the hotel.Comment of D. Marco , Netherlands the 2016-01-19
"Lovely hotel but far from central"
We stayed at Tower 1, Superior Room (Non-smoking) for a 5D4N family holiday. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a bathtub in the bathroom. For our additional pax, the sofa was converted to a bed. Wifi connection in the room was good. The ‘kitchen’ has a big fridge, microwave oven, electric cooker, sink and small dining area. The microwave is free to use but the electric cooker is chargeable on per day basis. Swimming pool is huge, there’s a deep pool up to 2m but we didn’t get the chance to use it as it was under maintenance during our stay there. Next to shopping complex, cinema, park. Can’t find halal restaurants nearby. Near to Tin Shui Wai Public Transport Interchange and Ginza Light Rail Station. There’s a direct bus from Airport to the interchange - Bus A37 (abt 1hr journey). Despite the comfort and convenience, the hotel location is far from central and require many MTR transfers to get to tourist attractions. Note: There are 2 towers. Swimming pool is located at Tower 2.
"Far from the airport - city bus station behind"
You must know: 1. Almost an hour bus ride to the airport. 2. City bus station just behind. 3. Shopping mall attached with 7/11 and ATM machines. 4. Average type for business stay. 5. The room for 3 not really for 3. They added folding bed for one to make it 3. 6. Linens are ok, but small room for 3. 7. Lucky we have the view. Aircon is cold enough. 8. Some taxi drivers have difficulty to find it. 9. Unlimited room Wifi. 10. Daily complimentary water. 11. Daily cleaning and changing of towels. 12. Shops and restaurants around. 13. Comfy lounge and cool staff. If you're doing business around this area is ok but if it's far, I suggest choose a hotel near because in Hong Kong everything is expensive.

"Nice staff, but low standard of cleanliness and smelly bed linens"
I saw a lot of good reviews about this hotel and wonder if the rooms that I was assigned to were exceptional cases: 1. I was first given a room on the 10th floor in tower 1, but I immediately requested a room change after finding the kettle, bathroom and bed linen inside the room were unclean...(smelly bed linens, few strings of hair on the bathroom floor and dated bathroom facilities, tea stain inside the kettle). Also, even though I booked a non-smoking room, they assigned me to the 10th floor, which is NOT a non-smoking floor. 2. Then the friendly staff at the front desk gave me room 1707, which was a room on a non-smoking floor. Interestingly, the room smelled like shrimp shumai the whole time. Additionally, I could still smell cigarettes on occasions and I guess that might either have sth to do with their ventilation system or inconsiderate neighbors who had been smoking inside their rooms on the same "NON-SMOKING" floor. 3. The toilet and bathroom sink were both clogged during my first use and I called the front desk to get those fixed. It took about 40 mins for someone to come to "try" to fix it, but again the staff's attitude was very friendly even though the toilet remained clogged for another day and the sink had been clogged the whole time during my 10-day stay. I also overheard the staff talking on his rocky-talkie and it seemed that many other rooms needed him to clean their clogged toilets. 4. Cleaning staff was nice and polite, but they did not do their job properly. There was this one time where a cleaning lady came to do housekeeping while I was there. She simply tidied up my bed (no changing of linens), went into the bathroom to wipe down a few things, and left within 10 mins saying "your room is so clean". (Yup, no vacuuming or wiping the windows, tables, chairs, and mirrors) There were a few times where they even forgot to empty my trash cans. 5. Bed linens had always been smelly (they smelled like vomit) during my 10-day stay even after I requested them to change the linens. My guess: the place where they stored the linens might not have been properly clean. 6. Bathtub and kitchen sink always had a few long strings of hair left when I came back to the room after their "housekeeping" work. Mirrors were slightly foggy. 7. I did not request a room change after moving to 1707 because I've realized their standard of cleanliness is not that high and it would pretty much be the same if I moved to another room. I also did not have the time and money to move to another hotel. Recommendations for the hotel: Cleaning staff needs to be properly trained even though they were nice and friendly.
"My favourite place to stay in Hong Kong"
Pick up from the airport was easy, though i was exhausted by the long over nigh flight, drive to Tin Shui Wai in the shuttle was memorable, as soon as i stepped off the shuttle was greeted by a couple who's wedding was scheduled at Harbour Plaza, check-in process was simple and smooth, staff at Harbour Plaza were very courteous and helpful, the room was spacious, neat and clean including the bathroom, as i got a room without balcony, the view of the park and stadium from my room window was beautiful. Tin Shui Wai is situated in the outskirts of the city there is not much of congestion and very easy to commute as its walkable distance from Ginza station and the place is very safe even at wee hours, there is a mall attached to the Hotel and plenty of eateries to opt from and to shop, used MTR through out my stay, though the hotel provides frequent shuttle service, commute to downtown was easy and cheap, MTR in HK is very efficient and organised so be least worried about transportation. Over all a big thumbs up to Harbour Plaza loved the stay and service, i am going to stay here every time i visit HK in future as well.
