Is a fine hotel and offers you a lot of value against a competitive price. Rooms are well equipped not to big, but big for HK. The pool and the gym are fantastic. You don't have wifi in the rooms that is a minus. You do have free wifi in the park next to the hotel.Comment of D. Marco , Netherlands the 2016-01-19
"Don't have high expectations"
I was come late night and my man left key for me at reception. When I approach them one of the girl stand and greet me, that's good. However when I ask for something send to room they were using walkie talkie, it makes me uncomfortable. What if I ask for something embarrassing or something serious, all the other guest will know. OK, after I get in to room, the room attendant ring the doorbell after 10 mins and give me what I need, however he has said nothing. I don't know why he don't speak anything...even only say "house keeping".... For the room, it is OK. And there is handy phone for Wi-Fi, speed was slow. All the wardrobe were empty. The one thing that make me made this comment is the below picture...it is dangerous, I even cut my toe with this. What if I bring my kid, it that he will die! Unacceptable, my gosh. I don't know you guys have some one check the room after tidy up or you just don't care for customers safe. I promise I will not come again.
"So convenient, everything within walking distance. Glad I found it."
Actually a good friend referred me. But I was really glad that I booked here. Even just for the convenience of it, is worth almost everything. Hear me out: 1. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall and entertainment plaza. I mean 'connected'. You can literally walk from the lobby to many restaurants and shops without walking out of the building. 2. In the same plaza there are tons of good restaurants and shops and a supermarket and smaller markets. And a movie theater. 3. By the hotel there is a pretty big civic park, with lots of walking paths and a manmade lake with lots of fish and turtles in it. Quite fun to watch. 4. There are major bus stops and trail stops just a few steps from the hotel. You can take public transportation to basically anywhere in Hong Kong. 5. Within walking distance, you can go to the Hong Kong Wetland Park. 6. Some rooms have kitchenettes. 7. The hotel has shuttles to/from the airport and Disneyland and other locations. The rooms are big, with good views out of the window. The service is quite good. The staff are most bilingual, or tri-lingual rather (counting Cantonese, Mandarin and English). We had a group of 11 people in 4 rooms, with grandparents and teenagers. All of us liked it here. I plan to book here again for my next trip to Hong Kong.
"Professional, Strategically-located and Economically-friendly"
Being a long-stay guest and as part of a corporate deal, I got a big sized Deluxe room, which is adequate even for a family of 3-4 as well and stayed for 90 days. It was a higher floor room 1921. The room had all the amenities like a king-sized comfortable bed, television set, big wardrobe, a rack full of spaces, and a decent sized kitchen with a reasonable-sized refrigerator. I never had any problem with any request of mine with respect to housekeeping or front desk or concierge. Smooth sailing for the entire stay. I would like to convey a big thanks to the housekeeping department for keeping my room spotlessly clean and hygienic; to the Concierge guys for helping me out with bookings and other stuff, front office for any special request. They smilingly helped me always. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the concept of serviced apartment for long-stay guests and its reasonable priced for monthly bookings. I agree its a bit distant from the Hong Kong Island but who is complaining about that. HK has one of the world's best public transportation systems in the form of MTR, Buses and Light rail and if you have deep pockets use the cab/taxis. This hotel is connected to a big Mall, which has a big supermarket; which fulfills the need for your everyday food and other needs. You have access to 10 different restaurants and 2 different banks and ATMs. There is nice Ginza square where you can sit and while away the idle time during weekends or late nights. Very safe for guests. The hotel has a really big-sized Gym with Sauna and Spa rooms along with a big swimming pool. I guess, it has the outlook for a Corporate Hotel with benefits for tourist who want to stay only over the weekend. I am very thankful to the Manager - Mr. Nick Sham for ensuring that my stay was pleasant, safe and happy. I would surely choose this place for a vacation stay with my family or a long-stay for work purposes.
"Take the airport express bus A37 to the hotel"
Decent hotel, room size spacious (38sqm) compared to average HK hotels. I stayed here to visit my family so location is not important to me. My room has a big fridge, TV, kettle and a microwave. The bed is on the hard side. TIP: don't use the express van service provided by the hotel like I did, which costs HKD100. Take the new express bus A37 at the airport bus terminal, get off at the stop "Kingswood Ginza" , which takes about 45 minutes and only HKD27.7. Thank me later.
"What you see is not what you get"
We booked a room from a website at this hotel. We then received confirmation of our booking and then it was followed by and e-mail from this hotel that said we must phone them when we arrive at the airport in Hong Kong to hear if they have a room available for us. When we arrived at the airport we went to the hotel counter and they confirmed our stay. We then required about the hotel shuttle that was advertised as free just to find out that we had to pay for the hotel shuttle that by the way was more expensive than a private taxi. What was supposed to take us according to the website 15 minutes to get to the hotel took around one hour. The last straw was when we checked in to the hotel they refused to honor the rate that was given to us according to the website, even though I had the printed out booking with the rate as proof. The second problem arose when they told me that we had to wait for our room for two hours as it was yet to be cleaned. At this point i somewhat lost it and hey presto within one second they came up with an available room. The room was great, the view stunning but despite this we will not return to this hotel
